Comment: I LOVE this fic. It’s one of the ones I always go back to because it makes me so happy. Arthur finds out about the magic much earlier, and after a small bit of turmoil, he and Merlin ending up working together as a badass duo to take down monsters across Camelot. Along the way they realize their feelings, a good sprinkling of sexy times, Uther stays in ignorant bliss--it’s honestly fantastic.

Comment: Okay, so this is the only wolf-related fic I’ll ever recommend -- because he’s not a wolf/human or something, he just becomes one temporarily. And it’s kind of, really cool. You’re classic “caught by bandits” fic with a twist. Good read. :)

Summary: If there was one thing Arthur Pendragon was never without, it was a mood.
Comment: This story is the perfect example of a fic where the summary is showing like a tiny tip of a huge iceberg. I thought this was going to be a cute one shot, and then I was almost in tears by the end (good tears though. Like beauty tears, i-love-them-so-much-their-relationship-is-the-most-beautiful-thing-to-ever-exist tears.) Everything about this makes me happy. Arthur is so vulnerable, and Merlin is so caring, it;s like heartbreaking. I love them. I love this story. Do yourself a favor and read it.

Comment: Oh my GOD I loved this story. It’s a play off of 1x13, but Merlin’s reaction was so raw and heartbreaking. I thought it was an interesting way for Arthur to find out about the magic, and he was just so caring. It’s so sweet. There’s cuddling involved. Also stories with good Morgana always make me emotional. It’s like everything ou could want in a pre-slash fic :) SO CUTE. read it.

A tale on duty and hierarchy inside Camelot.
Comment: Wow, this story hurt. :( I just felt so bad for Merlin, but at the same time it wasn’t really Arthur’s fault. It’s kind of heartbreaking though -- i just wanted to step into the story and wrap him up with a blanket and tea. Poor bby. But then Arthur fixes things and it’s all okay in the end. (Also, it’s a gen fic. No slash mentioned (sadly) ) Still a great read though. All the platonic bromance feels.

Comment: :) Basically it’s the night of Arthur’s coronation and Merlin’s being pretty angsty and distant about the fact that Arthur doesn’t know about the magic. Arthur is confused, but determined to fix things. And he does. I liked the established relationship aspect (as I always do). Also hot table sex. What’s not to love?

Comment: aka Arthur doesn’t know how to deal with emotions in a healthy way, and Merlin’s there to care for him when he hurts himself. Sweet and touching. They love each other so much, I’m emotional :’)

Comment: God, I loved reading this. A bunch of potential ‘wives’ for Arthur are visiting, and Merlin is trying to dress Arthur in a way that will make them back off--it doesn’t work. Merlin is so in love and honestly he’s not even hiding it. But dang, this was hot. And can I just say, I love the idea of Arthur wearing all black?
Also, there’s a magic reveal in there somewhere, and it’s quite priceless :)

Comment: So this was really kind of creepy, but really interesting. Uther knows about the magic - and confronts him about it. I could literally feel Merlin’s fear, it’s really well written. (I love this author). Good read :)

Comment: God, I loved this story. It’s so much fun. It’s this perfect mix of really sweet, really funny and really hot. Merlin is a confused and oblivious idiot, and the dragon is a total asshole. But it’s great, really. All the warm medieval boyfriends fuzzies :)
