Then I made a few storage buckets. 2 for hubby (the musical ones), 2 for my mum for her clothes pegs and one for me. And I can confirm they hold 100 pegs. They have the extra of an carabiner hook so you can hang them on the washing line or otherwise they will stand very nicely.

Bauble Mania was over

So after weeks of obsessively covering baubles with beads, thanks AuDHD, I was like and now? I had plenty of beads leftover. What to do with those? It's not that I wasn't familiar with beading before. Maybe 40 years ago I made a few bracelets using beads, thin cotton and a crochet hook. No idea where those ended up.

Anyway, I scrolled through Totallybeads website and then I thought, hmm, the only jewellery I wear are bracelets. I make bracelets to use up the beads.

A few new bracelets kits and own colour combinations later I am so into beading again. I just love it. Until I will find a new obsession. But that might take a while. As it has helped me a lot to recover from my knitters thumbs and I don't want to dive back into knitting straight away. Maybe I will take a 1 year sabbatical from knitting, making sure my thumbs are totally OK.

So I bought a box of 36 baubles and they all have now a pretty beaded coat. My xmas tree will sparkle like crazy.
