Day 51: Lake Bled, Slovenia

Finally, a real update! I have been too busy lazing about by the lake to write anything down. After a long and arduous trek from Budapest to the Lake Bled campsite, we have been relaxing and recharging before we leave tomorrow for Electric Elephant, a music festival in Tisno, Croatia. Slovenia is absolutely beautiful. The water is warm in the lake, and the campsite is surrounded by forest. There are tons of families, couples and other backpackers sharing the campsite with us. There's a restauraunt and even a grocery store that sells super cheap pizza right on the campsite. Perfect conditions for laziness! Tonight is our fifth night here, and so far camping has been good. Our little tent just squeezes all of us in, and it is a nice feeling to know that we are all carrying a home on our backs. We'll be camping in Croatia, too, and after that I'll be headed home. I can't believe how quickly this trip passed by!

Day ???: Budapest

My lack of updates is truly abysmal! We are currently in Budapest, staying at the rowdy Grandio party hostel. Needless to say, there's been some train travel, an attack of 8-hour flu, a lot of alcohol, and quite a few good times. I'll try to post something more comprehensive once we get to our next stop - Lake Bled in Slovenia. Things should be a little more relaxed there!
