last movie: Arthur Christmas, which was great fun yet again.

last series: I've been watching a bit of Longmire (thanks Hazel for the rec!), am about halfway through season 1.

salty or sweet: salty mostly, though I enjoy sweet stuff as a treat

coffee or tea: tea's my favourite, either black or rooibos, but sometimes a nice cup of coffee just hits the spot.

working on: my knightly dragon riders story :) trying to strike while the iron's hot and get a good foundation while I'm off work for a couple more weeks so I can more readily pick up and write in what free time I do have through next year.

Ever heard the story behind these lyrics?

"I have decided,

to follow Jesus.

No turning back."

This is something that truly happened in the past. This story originates from Northeast India, where a missionary came to visit one of the most violent tribes and from that tribe, a man, his wife and their two sons accepted Jesus Christ into their hearts. When the chief of that tribe heard about this, he got the whole family out in front of the whole village. the chief threatened them to renounce their faith, but when they still stayed strong in their faith, the chief and his men shot arrows, first killing the two sons, and when the chief asked the man again, the man replied, "No turning back, though none go with me, I still will follow." and later the man's wife was also shot, when the man kept denying to renounce his faith, he too was killed.

The amazing thing afterwards is when the other villagers saw this family's faith, they too wanted to know about this God, the man and his family so faithfully follow.

And later the chief himself, turned to Christ and accepted Jesus into his heart.
