Adventure Time Finale

For anyone interested that didn’t already know, the Adventure Time series finale is airing tonight, 9/3 at 6 pm EST on Cartoon Network. The 40-ish minute episode “Ultimate Adventure: Come Along with Me” will conclude the 10th season and series overall. For anyone who needs a refresher or that isn’t caught up with Adventure Time, this video provides a pretty good overview of the show. So come along with me and watch the conclusion to one of Cartoon Network’s longest running shows!

Just finished this and I kind of had the klance fandom in mind while making it. 

No matter what happens to these two in S8, these two have already made a major impact, they have created a huge following and nothing can ever change that, not even Dreamworks. 

Canon or not by the end of the show, these two have become the most popular ship within the Voltron fandom, and even media as a whole. It’s impossible to come into this show and not run into some form of Klance. They are powerful and they will stay that way no matter what.

Voltron Thoughts: The Galra Leader

So we know back in season 5, episode 4 “Kral Zera” Lotor became the new Galra emperor. However, with season 6 and Lotor (probably) being out of the picture now, who will become the new leader?

In the season 7 trailer we see Sendak saying “We will attack where they are vulnerable.” So, the likliest candidate for who the new Galra emperor will be is Sendak. But as we saw back in season 5 in the “Kral Zera” episode, Haggar was planning on using Sendak as her puppet as leader of the Galra. And, now that Lotor is presumed dead, Haggar will not be happy about losing her one and only child as we saw her attempting to reconnect with him. 

So assuming Sendak is the new emperor under the watch of Haggar, season 7 is going to be rough. But also, we now know that season 8 will be the last, leaving only 26 episodes. The show has to reach some sort of conclusion within that time. The war has to somehow resolve. How could this be done? By dethroning, yet again, the Galra emperor, this time Sendak, and possibly killing Haggar along with him. So if this were to happen, who else could possibly take the throne and conclude the war? Well there are two main candidates that come to my mind. 

Firstly, Kolivan, the leader of the Blade of Marmora. He fits the requirement of being Galra, and because he had been fighting against Zarkon during his reign, he would want to put an end to the war once and for all. To me, he would be the best and most likely candidate.

Secondly, just to throw this out there, Keith also would qualify to be the leader of the Galra because he is at least part Galra. We know that the leader doesn’t neccessarily have to be full Galra, as we saw with Lotor, so this is a possibility. Keith also had major developement in season 6 and is now more fit to be a leader. I personally don’t think this would be the best ending for the series because it would divide up the original team once again, and there would still be more problems to face with rebuilding the empire. Keith is also only half-Galra at most, if even that, and although he has spent some time with the BOM, he still spent most of his life among humans and he’d have to assimilate into the Galra culture.

Anyway, these are just my thoughts, but I haven’t seen anyone really talking about this so I thought why not throw it out there.
