Hi, I'm Kelly and I'm a member of an organization called Liminal Space Research and Rescue Organization or LSRRO. I used to be what is known as a Jumper. But now I can no longer work that position so right now I'm in work limbo...so I've decided to appoint myself head of the Social Media Team. And if it's on Tumblr no one will take it seriously so my boss agreed! It's better then being stuck as one of the archival assistants or worse....a lab tech for Dr G... anyways I will answer questions and provide information and funny little things you do on the internet.

I've been informed by the big guy I need to explain our corporation in my pinned post.

The LSRRO is an organization that exists directly outside of your reality (dimension d147b411). We work with your world to make sure if anyone ends in a Liminal Space, or deity of your choice forbid a liminal creature ends up in your world, everyone ends up safe and with hopefully zero memories of the event. Believe it or not we are in fact, humans. We are from your world, we just work out of a separate dimension.

What is HQ

HQ is the headquarters of the LSRRO that exists in a none liminal manmade pocket dimensions which is a 9 story building that is where I work from!

Floor 1:

Dorms for on site workers, cafeteria, locker rooms, showers, personnel medbay, leisure facilities

Floor 2:

Medical, Gym, Labs, Engineers, Storage

Floor 3:

Archives, Offices (I work here), HR

Floor 4:

Mutation Studies Lab, Medical 2, Containment Cells

Floor 5:

Arcade, Shops, and "vacation" dorms

Floor six is only storage. It's nothing important. Floor Six is not important

Floor 7:

Training Grounds, Junior Dorms, Lecture Hall

Floor 8:

Liminal Vet Clinic, Park, Natural Pool

Floor 9:

Bossman's Office

Hi um bad day but I'm getting a new door. I'm gonna explain a liminal creature today because I had an encounter with it today.

What is a Shadow Kin

Not to be confused for Shadow Person, Shade Kin, Shadow Man, or Shado-kun. Oh god I actually typed that

A Shadow Kin is a creature from N164tW416hM34 or the Old Tower that look like one of those sheet ghost things but black with glowing of white eyes. Unlike ghosts it's corporeal and well outside of its world....tangible.

It busted down my ffing door

While it's not hostile during the day, at night it becomes violent to any individual with warm blood. It is unknown if it eats but it grows stronger and larger via consuming shadows. It attacks by pushing shadows into the body and ripping the body open. It can be hurt by UV light.

I'm pretty glad I had my old jump unit which come with a UV light though it's not as strong as modern units as I turned in my latest unit when I retired. From what I can tell it seems to have found a tear in N164tW416hM34 and went through and as it was 7 pm it wasn't happy that that I was alive and near it. So it busted my door down and nearly killed me. We put it in containment as we try and find it's tear. Containment is a simple holding cell with bright lights. And I'm currently working from my dorm until we can find it's tear.

Hiii! I'm gonna be introducing different members of the LSRRO and might as well start with myself.

NAME: Kelly Vernon

ORIGIN: [redacted], Missouri

HOME BASE: HQ

MUTATION LEVEL: 80%

JOB STATUS: Retired to head of Social Media

APPEARANCE: 5'7, 165 pounds 20 year old brunette female. Before mutation i- she had blue eyes and tan skin. Post mutation she has black sclera with white in her lower eye that bubbles upward kinda, lavender skin, and these notable candy scars: three green lines next to her her right eye, blueish crescent moon outline between her eyes, black lines creeping onto her face from left side of one visible from front on, bluish stitch marking on throat, seven pink splotches on her left arm and five on right. Any candy scars aren't visible with clothes on. Especially the one from the Library. That one is going to the grave with me

FUN FACT: My office is decorated with fairycore stuff! (Especially mushrooms)

Today we'll be discussing a personal favorite Liminal Space:

The Sunny Laundromat

On the smaller size of a liminal space, the sunny laundromat is 60 feet by 60 feet building and has a small parking lot outside of it. There seem to more buildings around it but no one ever goes to them. It's warm and sleepy inside, it has whole wall of windows at its entrance and the sun is always gently shining inside. The world is very pastel 1950s. You can do laundry there for free! It has those plastic scoop chairs and they are so comfy, an old pac man arcade machine, has a soda machine with vintage glass bottles, and an old TV up in the back corner up top. You can't really hear but it often has a show you find decently interesting (often a crime drama or fantasy). You can get pretty sleepy lol.

My favorite is the part is the sidewalk at the store front and the dumpster around its corner: there are CATS! Though they're strays a bunch are super friendly! Though they freak out if you have a cellphone out.

Also stay out of the dumpster.....I don't really know what's inside....but any attempts to learn end in grievous injury or death.

WHAT IS A LIMINAL SPACE

Okay so you know the multiverse theory? Where there's infinite universes where anything could be true: Spiderman is real, everyone is genderswapped, Britain won the Revolution, fish on pizza is normal, etc. Well it's true! (Acording my boss: Legally, this is a roleplay account do not believe this 20 year old) And sometimes things move a little wrong and a little pocket is created and well....

That's where shit doesn't follow the concepts of earth.

Alternate realities often follow the most of the commons of earth. Such as locations, planets, people, or gravity. Realities often aren't to far in difference.

Liminal Spaces....those pocket dimensions feel familiar but....it's very different/wrong. The definition of uncanny valley imo. They are often small even if infinite....and often deadly.

And they have there own laws.

What is a Jumper

Jumpers are the LSRRO rescue team they make up a majority of the team and most on site staff are retired jumpers. A jumper is responsible for making sure the person/people/even sometimes animals that end up in a liminal space get out and taken to their HQ's medical care unit. They are also responsible for: capturing escaped liminal creatures, protecting cargo, checking rescuee for candy scars during rescue, and making sure the liminal space isn't disturbed. And sometimes other things such as: helping rescuee finish homework to escape Library, provide hot chocolate to a rescuee in the Ice Palace, convince someone that NO they don't want to trust the angel in the Old Cathedral.

It's a rewarding but dangerous job, even if it's mostly grunt work.

Jumpers come in teams of three and are equipped with a Jump Unit and if in a Survival Level lower then 5 an emergency kit tailored for the Liminal Space. Often you can tell who has worked there the longest based on their candy scars. Though sometimes newer agents run into more unfortunate situations (such as Jumper Franx and Ex Jumper Kane)

Jumpers rarely get to leave there jobs due to the tight security (hence why I'm still here OnO) they often retire to be on site staff, transfer into Unit 1, or end up under observation of every government-_-. The last one is only an option for those with no serious mutation (aka not me)
