Thank you!
Dancing with Wolves-- Xiumin
On nice, mellow nights spent with Xiumin, Kim Hae Ra wonders if anything can be more perfect. The moonlight shines down on the two as the Ferris wheel reaches it's peak and Hae Ra swears that the moment is melodramatic. She's nestled in his arms and he's smiling at her lightly. She catches the glint in his eyes and thinks for just one second if he's phased by the moon at all. She should've known not to be so curious about wolves and the moonlight but it was curiosity that killed the cat after all.
"Does it bother you at all? The moon, I mean," She says.
Xiumin merely replies with a chuckle, "No, not at all."
"I'm sorry," She laughs as she mentally scolds herself for saying such a thing.
"There's nothing to be sorry about. I'd be curious too if I wasn't a wolf."
She nudges him with her elbow, "But doesn't it get annoying when I ask you questions? You know me, I always ask a ton of questions."
She sighs when he ruffles her hair.
"I don't mind," He tells her. "Look over there."
When she looks off to the side, she spots fireworks. Vibrant shades of blues, reds, purples, and yellows catch her eye. Not too long after, a smile etches onto her face and laughter rings in the air.
"You really had this all planned out, didn't you?" She questions.
Before the two leave their own little world, they share a kiss.
"What should we do now? I don't want to go home yet!" She says.
He hums quietly before taking her hands in his.
"We could dance under the moonlight."
"There's no music," She comments.
"Well I also have no other ideas."
"Dancing it is!" She giggles as she twirls around.
The rest of the night is filled with jokes and laughter until the two become tired. He starts to walk her home but it's not quiet. There's never a dull moment with this pair.
As they start to playfully shove each other, Hae Ra realizes that he's becoming more and more aggressive. It's almost like a game, what these two are doing. With a new sense of determination, she attempts to shove him back as hard as she can. The effort is fruitless though, because she goes flying into the wall beside him. She missed Xiumin entirely.
The only thing that brings her back to sanity and distracts her from the throbbing pain in her hand is Xiumins melodious laughter.
"I got you! You totally missed me and you should've seen your face!" He jokes as he rushes over to her.
It doesn't take him very long, a wolf's speed is really not something to joke about.
"Hey, why are you so quiet?" He says as he catches a glimpse of her face.
Tears are running down her face and she looks like she's writhing in pain. It's no doubt she is with the way she's gingerly holding her wrist.
"What happened? Let me take a look. Did I do this to you?" He asks all at once.
"I'm fine," She stutters.
He really didn't mean it, they were playing around. She knows his sincerity just as well as she knows him. If he sees what happened then he'll wallow in a pool of guilt.
"Your hand is broken," He states bluntly as he lifts it to get a better look.
His heightened senses have never failed him. Even from a mile away, he would be able to see that her hand was broken. His vision was just that accurate. It's a known fact that her hand is broken.
"I'm sure I'll be fine." She tries to reassure him.
"I'm sorry," He says hurriedly. "Let's get you fixed up. I can't believe I did this. I hurt you and I--"
"I'm sorry," He says repeatedly until they reach her house.
Inside her house, they stumble on objects that are loitered on the floor.
"I'm sorry that my house is such a mess," She adds sheepishly as they find a spot to sit comfortably.
"At least you didn't break someone's hand."
"You're still on about that? Xiumin, it's really not a big deal." She soothes.
"It doesn't make me feel so great knowing that I hurt you. What does this say about us? What if I hurt you again?" He mutters.
"You won't." "There's always that 'what if' factor." He shakes his head, "At least let me make it up to you."
"I can do something pretty cool." He sing-songs as he gently holds her hand.
"Is it something to do with healing?" "Way to kill the surprise," He jokes.
"I'll still think it's cool no matter what."
"Okay, close your eyes." He instructs.
As if by magic, her hand that was once in agony had been alleviated from the pain. She could flex her hand like it was brand new.
"It's not going to wear off at midnight or something right?" She questions.
He almost bursts out into laughter but figures he's done enough for one night.
"No, it won't. Your hand is really bothering me though. I really broke it, huh?" He asks dejectedly.
"You might've broke it but you also fixed it. What's done is done." She shrugs.
"But aren't you at least a little mad at me? I mean I did cause you a lot of pain just now." "No, because I know that no matter how hurt I get, you'll always be there to heal me. You could break all my bones and I could never be mad at you. I'd only be mad if you left me."
"And how do you know I'm going to be with you forever? What if someone finds out I'm a werewolf and I'm killed off? It has happened before."
"Oh trust me, I have a feeling that you're not going anywhere." She says as she entwines her hand with his.
He laughs, "So I'm guessing that you're the type to get jealous and possessive easily? Not that I mind of course."
At that moment, she finally decides that nothing is better than spending her nights with her werewolf boyfriend.
and ta-da your request is done! Thanks for requesting. I'm speedy like a cheetah :-)
