Ningen are one of the creepiest of cryptids. It literally means “human”, and it’s supposedly a very large unknown animal sighted by Japanese fisherman, which bears an remarkable resemblance to humans. Are over-sized natural species misidentified as Ningen? Not according to the legends. The creatures are said to inhabit the northern Pacific Ocean as well as the waters around the Antarctic. Please spend 3 minutes and read this, it’d mean a lot to me (and trying to make a difference). I could care less about notes, I care about the message.

I was relaxing all cool at Miscellania getting my approval back up when this guy complemented me on my cape. We struck up a conversation, I saw his stats, investigated his prayer and he told me about how he just got back into scape and I felt a strange compulsion to do something. I told him to wait there as I went to collect, having reached 100% approval, and tele’d to the GE so I could quickly purchase 1k dragon bones. I came back to do what you see in the picture, hand over 1k d bones so he can take a good chunk out of 70 prayer. Not shown is me explaining why I did it or that i’d help him out with dungoneering later on (once I finish questing through RotM for prayer) or that he can come to me if he needs RS help.

Sure this was a nice act but me doing something nice isn’t the point of this. This isn’t to showcase that I can do something nice, anyone can do something nice. I have, since I got back into scape in 2010(?), tried to do quite a lot of nice things for people (friends in particular) with lends and just donations. Again, this isn’t about me having done nice things or me being nice, i’m not some egotistical douche looking to be praised. I have met many a nice person in my days of scape and it is partially due to them that i’m inspired to reciprocate. It’s also partially due to the fact that as of late I feel like I haven’t gotten to do enough good in the world of ‘scape. I haven’t been there to make someone else feel wonderful. it’s about spreading good with the hope that it inspires more good in the world. That’s the point of this. Anyone can do something nice so anyone should do something nice.

So, I ask you and others in the RS tag to try and find some way to spread the love to other people. Make someone smile, give a little bit, do something! Be the good you want to see in the ‘scape community because anyone can do something that matters.
