A metal door opened and footsteps soon followed.

Evan, slightly more scratched up than before, offered Simon a wave and smile in greeting.

"Ah, greetings! How are you, Evan?" He said, waving back.

A so-so motion was offered in response, paired with a thumbs up.

Once standing still and close enough to Simon, he pulled out his new notebook. Flipping it to the back and writing there instead, as he seems to prefer to do.

'A bit tired but mostly alright. How have you been?'

"I've been feeling great. I dropkicked a walldweller and shot pandemonium in the fucking face. I'm a bit bruised now because pandemonium got REALLY angry and threw me around a lot in a locker but I'm fine."

A sudden huff of air escaped him, definitely surprised. And judging by the momentary silent chuckling; very amused as well.

Of all the responses, that was definitely something Evan was Not expecting to hear in the slightest.

'Have you tried going for a swim or leaning against a window? The cold can help ease the ache'

"Yeah, I'm fine now. Honestly the entire Blacksite is cold." He admitted, crossing his arms subconsciously.

'True. But the computer rooms are warm! I'd take a nap there if I could.... Most I do is sit around in there for a bit until HQ starts getting annoyed with me :/'

He admitted.

'At least it takes over an hour to get down here with a sub. Not the most comfortable, but also the only place you can safely take nap that I know of.'

He chuckled. "Yeah, every time I come across a sub that's crashed I always take note of how nice it can be to rest in there."

'Cold, but hidden. Safer spot than most.'

Evan nodded, shifting his weight to slightly rest his back.

The very concept was nearly unthinkable, especially after how much time has passed. Evan took a breath, remembering the notebook and pen he'd been temporarily given, and fished them out.

Both items seem to have been well taken care of, despite the circumstances.

'what?'

"Me and my friend Jack found out that Sebastian's Scrambler completely cuts off Urbanshade's connection while you're near it. So, when I first discovered it,I had to pray I wouldn't explode while I sat in that shop and tampered. I didn't say a thing to sebastain until I recently brought Jack in to free him." He explained, stopping for a moment before continuing. "it's risk-free. As long as the Scrambler is on, you're completely cut off."

Absentmindedly, Evan had reached up to the rebreather hanging from his neck. Feeling the tube connecting it to the breathing-gas tanks on his back.

"..."

'..we can be free?'

"You don't have to lose the PDG, too. I just have to disconnect urbanshade and you're safe. And disarm the bomb but it seems they use the exact same one. I learned all about it with my PDG." He referenced the PDG still on his back. "I can still fully remove the PDG if you want. And we'd have to remove it in Sebastian's shop, or atleast with sebastain nearby." He stated, stopping his leaning and crossing his arms. "But you have to agree to help with the plan, or atleast come along."

His eyes narrowed slightly.

'I don't know what your plan is.' Evan pointed out.

Then added on '→ Won't agree to things i don't know about.'

"I expected such a response. Well, I'll tell you." He sighed, he expected to have to tell the plan. "We have an escape plan. We're gonna need Sebastain but I'm not asking until I am 100% certain it'll work. We're going to go to one of the docks and wait for a submarine to arise. Sebastains Scrambler will disconnect urbanshade from being able to see what's going on or be able to use the submarine. Then, we either fight operatives if they send them, or we get an expendable out. I'll free them too. Then, when we're all loaded into the submarine, I'm going to Hijack the submarine and take it from Urbanshade's control. Then we just have to escape the let-vand zone.. And then we're home free. I think the submarines can fit up to 50 people so feel free to bring people you want to along. If you have anyone, that is." He finished, hoping he'd agree because now he knew the plan. "And that's it. That's the plan for freedom. We can always go down if we can't fit everyone, of course."

Occasional tapping from the pen fills the silence as he thought the plan over. It's risky, that's for certain, and relies on a lot of uncertainties and improvisation. But it also seemed like the only actual possible way out.

'The 50-Sub is old and there's only one of them, but the rest can fit eight people.'

'Don't know if Sebastian would fit inside, unless he can coil up like a snake, maybe... still a tight fit, though.'

'We'd also need Painter's help for this plan to have a chance of working.'

"I was thinking of heading out for Painter after this, actually. I'm gonna negotiate with him." He elaborated.

'He likes Sebastian. Will probably consider it if you mention him.'

'Don't know how willing Sebastian would be with this plan though. If he does come along, he'd be useful for any fights that might happen.

I could fight too, but not against any guns, hah'

"That's the biggest flaw. We NEED sebastain for his Scrambler for this to even work. If he isn't willing, the plans over." He admitted, sighing.

"Well then thank God I have this." He showed his robotic arm as a smaller version of the turrets shot out the side of the arm.

The arm and it's possible mechanisms immediately caught his interest, and it was a Challenge to look away and focus back on the primary issue of the plan. But he managed. Barely.

'Sebastian... Well he wants out, that's obvious, but he doesn't trust us much. And he already has his own plan for how to escape.

..So convincing him would mean we not only have to just generally win him over; but also need to make him believe our plan is better than his, somehow.'

Evan ran a hand through his hair, sighing as well.

(that's going to be a pain.)

"Thats why I'm trying to take my time. I've gonna fully flesh out this plan and make it perfect. And I will. I have to.."

He nodded.

'Well, i am willing to go along with it, even if it's not great. Don't really have anything to lose anymore if it fails, anyways.'

"Alright. Meet me at sebastains shop. I'll free ya there." He said, waiting to make sure he understood.

Again, he responded with a nod.

'Any specific time?'

"As soon as possible." He decided. "I'll be by the shop all day. Nothing else to really do."

'Got it. I'll see you there, then.'

'Do you want your notebook and pen back?'

"Oh- yeah, right." He took out a different notebook and pen. Both were unused. "here. Not hard to find these things when you're gonna be needing a lot of them to work. Atleast back when people could work here.."

We're gonna need Sebastain but I'm not asking until I am 100% certain it'll work. We're going to go to one of the docks and wait for a submarine to arise. Then, we either fight operatives if they send them, or we get an expendable out. I'll free them too. Then, when we're all loaded into the submarine, I'm going to Hijack the submarine and take it from Urbanshade's control. Then we just have to escape the let-vand zone.. And then we're home free. I think the submarines can fit up to 50 people so feel free to bring people you want to along. If you have anyone, that is." He finished, hoping he'd agree because now he knew the plan. "And that's it. That's the plan for freedom. We can always go down if we can't fit everyone, of course."

Occasional tapping from the pen fills the silence as he thought the plan over. It's risky, that's for certain, and relies on a lot of uncertainties and improvisation. But it also seemed like the only actual possible way out.

'The 50-Sub is old and there's only one of them, but the rest can fit eight people.'

'Don't know if Sebastian would fit inside, unless he can coil up like a snake, maybe... still a tight fit, though.'

"I was thinking of heading out for Painter after this, actually. I'm gonna negotiate with him." He elaborated.

'He likes Sebastian. Will probably consider it if you mention him.'

'Don't know how willing Sebastian would be with this plan though. If he does come along, he'd be useful for any fights that might happen.

I could fight too, but not against any guns, hah'

"That's the biggest flaw. We NEED sebastain for his Scrambler for this to even work. If he isn't willing, the plans over." He admitted, sighing.

"Well then thank God I have this." He showed his robotic arm as a smaller version of the turrets shot out the side of the arm.

The arm and it's possible mechanisms immediately caught his interest, and it was a Challenge to look away and focus back on the primary issue of the plan. But he managed. Barely.

'Sebastian... Well he wants out, that's obvious, but he doesn't trust us much. And he already has his own plan for how to escape.

..So convincing him would mean we not only have to just generally win him over; but also need to make him believe our plan is better than his, somehow.'

Evan ran a hand through his hair, sighing as well.

The very concept was nearly unthinkable, especially after how much time has passed. Evan took a breath, remembering the notebook and pen he'd been temporarily given, and fished them out.

Both items seem to have been well taken care of, despite the circumstances.

"Me and my friend Jack found out that Sebastian's Scrambler completely cuts off Urbanshade's connection while you're near it. So, when I first discovered it,I had to pray I wouldn't explode while I sat in that shop and tampered. I didn't say a thing to sebastain until I recently brought Jack in to free him." He explained, stopping for a moment before continuing. "it's risk-free. As long as the Scrambler is on, you're completely cut off."

Absentmindedly, Evan had reached up to the rebreather hanging from his neck. Feeling the tube connecting it to the breathing-gas tanks on his back.

'..we can be free?'

"You don't have to lose the PDG, too. I just have to disconnect urbanshade and you're safe. And disarm the bomb but it seems they use the exact same one. I learned all about it with my PDG." He referenced the PDG still on his back. "I can still fully remove the PDG if you want. And we'd have to remove it in Sebastian's shop, or atleast with sebastain nearby." He stated, stopping his leaning and crossing his arms. "But you have to agree to help with the plan, or atleast come along."

His eyes narrowed slightly.

'I don't know what your plan is.' Evan pointed out.

Then added on '→ Won't agree to things i don't know about.'
