      “Ooooor a man who doesn’t like to be sat on. But you couldn’t move without throwing me off… I know! Let’s try a piggyback ride!”

                         “Oh, that’s the kind of sitting you meant.                           Still, what’s in it for me, love?”

      “ what other kind is there?                 an extraterrestrial vehicle inhabiting a humanoid vessel lounging on your back is your reward! sounds fancy, huh? “

         “Sit on me?”

      "An ill minded man would object to that."

      "Ooooor a man who doesn't like to be sat on. But you couldn't move without throwing me off... I know! Let's try a piggyback ride!"

                     “Well, I have to say, I feel quite fancy all of a sudden.”

      "---ah! I have a better idea! Let me sit on you!"

A phoenix lands on her shoulder and nuzzles into her cheek.

      The bird is greeted with a puzzled look at first, though her expression soon changed into a joyous one. "Hello there!" Gently, she ran a finger over the phoenix' head. "That's very pirate-y, you know. I know! I should get a ship and and start sailing!"

As the girl kept talking, Rose was fairly certain that she reminded her of the Doctor, but she knew that it was not the case. Another Time Lord maybe? No, that was not it. Her lips pursed a little as her thoughts spun in circles. “I’ve never seen you before in my life, I know that, but…” Her eyes narrowed. “At the same time, I am positive that I know you. Will you just tell me who you are, then? And why we’re here? And don’t even think about giving me another riddle.”

     It was an almost tragic, but at the same time fascinating and understandable fact that humans simply lacked what a time lord had in regards of smarts or general knowledge of the extensive usage of their brain. It didn't surprise her in the least that her thief's former-- future-- current companion took her time to think far enough to figure it out. "Oh, no, you have seen me. A bit unhealthy, that was. And sudden, you could have asked beforehand!" Alas, it was forgiven-- but never forgotten. "He calls me Sexy, so that's my name, I suppose!"

He furrowed his brow— the smile gave him a hint, because it seemed to ooze this radiance, like a gold aura. He leaned in and examined that woman before him before it clicked. “Oi! My favourite and oldest Lady friend.” He twirled a bit of those blonde locks in a finger, “You never cease to surprise me, Sexy.”

The anticipation hiding behind her expression wasn't-- well, quite honestly, it was all but hidden; It showed in her smile, the wrinkles around her eyes, her gaze that shifted to keep focus on his own features. She knew he would figure it out (he always would -- had -- will -- did -- does.) but it still excited her to watch the gears turn and his mind work. With a brief chuckle, she gave his chin a poke. "Your thief, you mean," she mused in return. "Someone has to keep you on your toes! Who else is going to push you into adventures and whatnot, hm?"

          It took Rory all of two seconds to realize who this mad, brilliant woman was. “Idris?” he whispered, before shaking his head. “No, but the…the TARDIS? Is it actually you?” As he spoke, he began hobbling about on one foot, unlacing his boot to pull off one sock.

      She kept shifting her balance from one foot to the other, gaze shifting between her surroundings, the male before her and whatever else struck her fancy at the time. "That's not my name," came the plain comment to his first statement, though she was quick to pick up a more light-hearted tone again. "Yep! An artificial body this time, so I'm a hundred percent me! Well, maybe about 90%. Or 88,7%. It's still a bit wobbly."

"I know what riddles are, thanks. And I don’t feel like playing one right now." Rose said, grimacing a little bit, and then exhaled. There was something about the girl, something very very familiar, and Rose wanted to know. "Do I know you?" She voiced her thoughts out loud. "And you’re telling me it’s your fault we’re here?”

     "You didn't make it sound like you did. And why not? The time's always right for a riddle on the side!" The blonde gave a brief chuckle, that then formed into a simple smile, the kind that mostly dominated her features. It was a whole new experience to meet the ones she's brought to those amazing places in the flesh. "Do you?" She countered, voice yet joyous. "I wouldn't call it my fault. It's more a... 'thanks to me'."

          “A spare pair of—? Uhm…no, just the one. Would you like these? It’s a bit warm out to be walking around barefoot, and I’ve at least got socks.”

       "--oh! I'd love some socks, yes. Please. Thank you. Hello. Ah! Right, you're the pretty one, aren't you? Did I miss the nose last time?" She scrunched up her nose, leaning forward slightly and poking the other's, a wide smile always remaining on her face.

      "Oh! I think I might have sprained my ank-- ouch. My ankle."

      "---I think I lost my shoes. Do you happen to have a spare pair?"

"Really? C’mooon, the answer’s ‘fire’. Eeeaaasy!"

      "You'd be surprised how few people figure it out! It's a little worrisome!"

“You’re either fire, or someone with a rather problematic allergy,” Martha responded curtly, a wry smile upon her lips. “Now, what do you actually want?”

      "Spoken like a doctor! More of a doctor than the kind I'm used to, that's for certain! Ah-- you should teach him some things, you know." She gave a few nods, obviously very convinced by her own statement, then smiled. "To say hello. Hello!"

"Someone very unfortunate." Rose said with a shrug. "Why are you askin’? If it’s for a game or something, count me out. Almost died once playing Weakest Link, I did…”

      "Wrong! You have to try harder!" A slight jump at that, and a (perhaps too enthusiastic) shake of her head. "It's a riddle! You ask them, someone solves them, that's how it works! But you have to admit, that was a thrilling choice of destination on my side, wasn't it?"

He made a grumpy face and stared at her a moment before a smile showed through. “No.” He finally mumbled.

"You… I know you… why do I know you, Goldie Riddler?"

That was just what she wanted to see; a smile. She gave one of her own-- well, a brighter one than the one she already wore-- and nodded. 

      "---excuse me? Goldie Riddler? Is that another name? What if my hair changes again? I liked brunette-- but blonde looked more like-- me. I don't know. Why do you know me? I've got a new face, after all."
