An older miscellaneous D&D character that I only really got to play for 4 sessions: Lumiette DeFlare was a pyromaniac ranger with the Draco Warden Archtype (though her dragon egg hadn’t hatched yet). Hilariously, the Druid of our party was also a bit of a pyro as well, they were a very destructive duo, which the bard and the fighter did not appreciate- haha.

I found this in my miscellaneous character folder, which I’m probably going to pull from whenever I feel like posting (unless something new turns out to be just too damn good haha).

Continuing on self-insert OCs for Tabletop RPGs based on stuff I like: This is K Hazard, a negator with the ability “untimely”. She’s a courier who got sent nearly 200 years into the past when she first got her power. She doesn’t really know how to move herself through time beyond how everyone else moves through it, but she’s constantly getting glimpses of the past and future wherever she’s at. She writes everything she thinks is important on a big ass scroll that she keeps in the metal case, which she also uses as a weapon.

It’s a very indulgent character design, I know, but you know what, he’s cool.

New OC for the season! His name is Hallowhim (Whim for short). He’s a pumpkin construct created by a wizard for no known reason through use of a magical artifact called a ‘Soul Candle’. As long as that fire burns he will be alive and provides innate magic that he can use in his day-to-day, the color of the flame changes colors based on his emotions. His favorite activity is dancing and he also gets along very well with most animals (probably because of the pumpkin). His biggest dream is to meet, and talk with, a Dragon.

Starting on my goal to post more, here’s some recent art- this is my Pathfinder character, Dr.Virev Calista. He’s a medical doctor who tried to incorporate the arcane into medicine and whoops, that’s necromancy… His familiar is a paladin of the God of Manliness who was kind of acting as a manliness mentor. After a horrible accident and a failing/desperate attempt at medical intervention, Virev moved the paladin’s soul into the nearest available body- his roommate’s pet/test subject armadillo. He may have messed up his own soul a little bit in the process…

He’s the wizard of the party, the guy with the arcane know-how, the magic-item appraiser , and he’s also filling the role of a rogue every once in a while (picking locks, finding & disabling traps, and stealing treasures). No I will not multiclass into rogue.

Hey, I don’t think I actually have any followers on this blog (or at least active ones)- to be fair it has been 3 years since I’ve posted anything here.

While getting ready to move house I found several old sketchbooks filled with drawings even older than anything on this blog. And even though it was as embarrassing Is I expect it to be when I look at my old art. I still envied how easily I could fill a sketchbook back then, and I remembered how easily I shared it with my friends, again, embarrassing but… Even though my art’s come a long way from what it was, I’m still anxious about showing my art to people, even my friends… I just want to have fun again, I want to get back to writing my whimsical little stories and do little drawings about them. I want to fill an entire sketchbook in two weeks.

I am putting those intentions into this blog because I am hoping to overpower my art anxiety and Just.Start.Posting.

Anything. D&D stuff, little creatures, random characters, hell maybe even some of that old stuff I’ve found… Even if it’s just getting thrown into an endless void of content at least it will feel like I’m sharing it. And I’m hoping that will allow me to build enough confidence to do more and talk about it more.
