Most Powerful Images From Kavanaugh Protests in Washington D.C.
As the Senate voted to confirm alleged sexual assaulter Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court on Saturday, October 6, protesters took to the streets of Washington D.C. to make themselves heard.
Equipped with signs, banners, and most notably, their own voices, people who opposed Kavanaugh’s confirmation made their way to the Senate gallery, where they shouted, fists raised, interrupting the roll call several times.
Many of the Kavanaugh protesters are sexual assault survivors themselves, and some even tried to appeal to politicians with their own stories.
