Honestly, she couldn’t fault that logic. Better something creative than something destructive, any day. Brigitte nods–still not letting him out of her sight for the time being, of course.

“You don’t necessarily have to be fast if you either have range or are flat out strong… I feel more powerful when I’m taller than someone… That’s just the way it is…”

“True, true. Y’know, for me, tallness just means being a bigger target.”

He shrugged, shaking his head. It’s true though. In a place where guns are usually the main weapon, being big isn’t a good thing.

“I thought it would be, honestly… All these metal bits and pieces don’t help.” Junkrat chuckled softly, pointing out his prosthetic arm and leg. Well, the leg didn’t really matter in this case, but still.

Envi pulled away from the hug. “You’re so damn tall… Just like Satanick… He’s a tall fucking man too… But you’re even taller than him even…”

“Wait- I am? Holy cow I didn’t expect that!” Jamie chimed, smiling widely. He’s far from the tallest person he knows, to be honest.

“You didn’t…? Most devils I know aren’t that tall… Most people I know aren’t really all that tall… But some people can really tower over me and I hate that…”

He tapped the bomb against the edge of the table, the small object indeed making a hollow sound.

“See?” He grinned, shrugging.

As soon as she registers the sound, Brigitte crosses her arms across her chest, narrowing a look that still reads skeptical, despite the proof.

“You make a habit of carrying empty bombs around?”

“Not usually, no... I do sometimes carry a few around to doodle on when I get bored. But not often.” Jamie replied, shrugging.

Junkrat started looking around, searching for anything out of the ordinary. He then realised that he had been holding a bomb for a while, which he had doodled on a while ago. He grinned.

“Oh, this?” He held up the bomb between two fingers, playing with it a little.

“Yes, that.” Brigitte doesn’t exactly back away from him, but she’s definitely not moving any closer to an Aussie with a bomb.

“Be careful with that thing, would you?”

“Ah, don’t ya worry! It’s not ready to blow. It’s just an empty husk at the moment, look!”
