UNTIL NEXT TIME!
I am hopping to another blog site again. Tumblr really isn't working for me unlike before. I want to do some serious blogging but Tumblr's services just doesn't keep up with what I want. The photo quality pls. Anyway, since it is the beginning of the year I think it is best that I also begin with my new blog. :)
Visit me at http://explorewiththepigs.blogspot.com! Thank you.
My First (Traumatic) Job Experience
As some of you may know, I am currently unemployed but I am not a free loader in my parents’ house. I actually have a business and I don't ask my parents for money. I may be going out there again in a few months but I am not sure if I still want to be in the same field that I was previously in.
Back in the first few months of 2013, I was a graduating Computer Science student with high hopes and big dreams but I was barely ready for what was coming. I felt unprepared. Job fairs were abundant in the university. Almost all of my batchmates were submitting their glowing resumes and I was just going with the flow. I was hesitant to send my resumes to some known companies because I was afraid of rejection. I was afraid that my resume was not good enough and my grades weren’t good enough. I have no failing marks though, but I was still not confident. I had my eyes on those companies which I think were fun to work at. I did not receive any calls/emails from the companies that I wanted.
As I was searching for restaurants to eat in Baguio, this retro themed restaurant popped out. I never had high hopes for the restaurant because the reviews I saw were the food was only okay and there is nothing really special.
Pizza Burger - P110 // The burger tasted like a real pizza. Haha. I was surprised that 50's Diner has huge servings.
Pancake - P95 // They may not look much but the pancakes were really fluffy, yummy and huge. It is served with a glass of iced tea, syrup and butter.
Vanilla Ice Cream Shake - P75
Overall, except for the vibe of the restaurant and their huge servings there is nothing exceptional. Or maybe we should've tried more dishes because there is a lot on their menu. Try their pancakes! Haha. I loved them for their fluffiness.
If you want something affordable but will satisfy your taste buds, drop by 50's Diner.
