Consept drawing:

 Not much to say here, the consept drawing didnt relly become the final product.

Renderd first basemesh image:

as you can see I kinda changed the “tincan” on the weapon on the final product. That was mainly because the fucking mesh was shit when i sent it over to 3Dcoat from Maya. Also my friend helped me with the “tincan” and he is a great 3D guru.

Retopoly and UVmap:

retopoly takes a long time. but in the ende the retopoly mesh ended up looking better than some of my original plygons so thats good.

Renderd last image:

Over to texturing. Texturing in 3D coat is a dream! only downside is the long time it takes to make the retopoly to make the UVmap redy to paint.

Cage and Octoman by Eurora - 3D model

“Octoman in his little cage” november 2016

This was my first big 3D assignment, and most of it is pretty lowply exept for the alian “octoman”, who i also rigged end animated a little(i just dont know how to export the animation to skechfab) And this schoolproject went okey. I got a lot of help and had some problems. But all in all i learnd a lott of 3D so i guess thats good even though i still aint shure how texturmapping in Maya can be done efficantly. What ever, I am now working in 3Dcoat and seem to be understanding some of it easyer. I may not be comleatly happy with this result but its okey, i mostly like the alien i made, though I was somehow stupid to think it wouldnt be hard to Rigg. (lol)

(I may add the shitty renderd image and turntable of this project in the future)
