"Huh~? I’m not blind, I’m Misha!" She grinned broadly, completely oblivious to the animosity in the tall stranger’s voice. "And, I haven’t seen any Hatchin’s around~."
"Are you sure they, um, came here with you~?"
Michiko growled. Clearly this girl didn't mean any harm or ill intent, but she just wasn't in the mood for this. She was apparently dead, and Hatchin was gone. Lovely.
"The answer to a question I never asked. Great."
"That's just it, I have no idea if she did or not."

Now, if Clay honestly said he expected his observations of places to stay (really, they all cost money, and even though the locals advised against it, he was considering just staying in the park area until he actually had the money to put into those hotels) to be interrupted by a piece of paper promptly being shoved into view, that would have been a lie, and he tugged on his hat as he tried to figure out…what on earth the picture was.
It looked like some sort of clown with heart-shaped hair? Not that he, of all people, was one to talk about weird hairstyles! People had accused him of never brushing his own hair plenty of times, and that wasn’t going into his best friend’s ‘rabbit ears’ hairstyle, heh. Well, he couldn’t allow himself to be distracted like this! It was time to answer the stranger’s question. His face registered an apologetic expression as he shook his head. “No, I’m sorry. I haven’t seen anyone like that here. I’m new here though, so they might be here further in the valley, but I wouldn’t know.”
A pause, there, before he brought a hand to his chin in thought. “Actually, it’s definitely a good thing I haven’t seen that person, when I think about it! Wouldn’t that person being here make them dead, too??”
Even here, he still kept his ‘trying to look on the positive’ mentality, though there was certainly very little to be positive about right now. Hey, being positive in such a challenging place would make one stronger, right?
"I mean, I could be wrong, but…the majority of folks here all seem to have the fact they’ve died in common, so that’s gotta mean something. Maybe?" Despite missing the point a lot, he may have had a point there. Though his voice easily betrayed he was a little uncertain about that topic.
So this guy actually knew what was going on here, for the most part, anyway. Was it true then? They were really dead? Michiko's eyes widened for a moment before they settled back down to fit the frown she wore. This didn't make any sense. Something like this wasn't possible was it? Then again, curses and lucky charms were real, so why couldn't the afterlife be real?
Michiko scoffed as she pushed her sunglasses up on her head and ran her tongue over her lips. She was just trying to accept that this was her fate now. So she was dead. And what of Hatchin?
Suddenly, she whipped her head around and looked at the kid again, eyes wide.
"Yeah...yeah you're right, aren't you? Since I haven't seen her, that probably means she's still alive right...I mean me bein' dead is...whatever, I guess, but Hatchin's...Hatchin's still got her entire life ahead of her."
But she still had to find Hiroshi on her own. And there was the matter of Satoshi going after them, and Atsuko...but Atsuko would help her at least...suddenly all this worry flooded Michiko's mind, and she shoved her fingers into her hair, nails digging at her scalp.
"But what if she is here and I just can't find her? What if she died too?"

Misha was accosted by the woman’s loud shout, and spun around. “Y-yes, ma~am!” She didn’t really have anything more pressing to deal with, so why ignore her? She tilted her head from side to side, regarding the drawing quizzically. “Um~… Is this a person~?”
Personally, she found the resemblance to be more akin to that of a potato.
The fuck was up with this girl's hair? She'd never seen anything like it! It had to be a weave or a wig or something like that. Already, this girl was off to a bad start with Michiko because she didn't like her hair, but once she asked her if her drawing was actually a person well...Michiko basically growled.
"Yes it's a fucking person, are you blind or something? It's Hatchin! Obviously!"

Another day gone by now and there was still little to be known on her situation. The town on the other hand had told her much. Unlike the run down appearance from afar it did carry inhabitants in it. Though the populace seemed off in ways they were rather helpful. There were also those like her, the dead, that walked still. As well at the creatures of the night that attempt to prey on them all.
The last being of mos concern for her. Despite this place lacking a grail war Saber found herself still spending the majority of her time ‘awake’ during the night. Some warriors resided here but the majority would not be able to hold their own in a fight.
What exactly those beings were, this she wanted to know most of all.
The knight quickly stammered back when a flash of white blinded her. She did not sense any hostility so instead of retaliating back she merely stood there. In awe. How crude a drawing.
"I…" Saber tried hard to pinpoint where exactly the girl was supposed to be on this parchment of scribbles but gave up. "I’m afraid I have not..?" Eyes switched from the drawing to the one holding it. A woman of greater height than herself and far darker skin. She gave off the atmosphere of a vigilante but to search for someone. There had to be some good to her.
Michiko stared at the shorter woman before her, silent. What the hell was up with her fucking clothes? She looked like she belonged in a storybook or some shit. Definitely not like she was supposed to be walking around a town like this. It was kind of very fucking weird, but she needed to find Hatchin.
Then again, this woman had no information for her.
"Uuuugggghhh."
Michiko groaned as she ran her free hand through her hair, pushing her sunglasses up and examining her drawing once more. She knew she wasn't very good, but you could tell that was a little girl, right? She definitely thought so!
"Well shit, if you haven't seen her, you're useless to me! And your clothes are a fuckin' pain to look at I swear..."
She grumbled under her breath as she crossed her arms and turned away. She still had only an inkling as to what was going on her, so perhaps this woman would be able to help her out a bit more. Then, she could have an easier time trying to find Hatchin.
"Aight then short stuff, you have any idea what's actually going on here? I mean...I ain't the only one that feels like they're...dead, right?"

"Hmm?"
The person that now stood before the woman of Brazilian descent couldn’t rightfully be called a person. ‘Monster’ would have been the word most used upon first seeing him. Among the hundreds of thousands of townsfolk, he was the one that truly stuck out like a sore thumb. A wild and unorthodox hair style, a glare that resembled that of a hawk and a muscular physique that was anything but normal. The height difference only became clear once the piece of paper was pointed towards his face, the crude drawing upon it glanced at with a hardened and intimidating look.
”.. No, I’m sorry. I haven’t seen anyone who looks like that. But her name is ‘Hatchin’ is it?”
Perhaps it was luck that she’d encountered him and not one of the other townsfolk waltzing about. Chances were someone might have laughed at or made a crude comment about the drawing and who knows how that might have turned out. And yet, he couldn’t really help her visually. But ‘Hatchin’ wasn’t a very common name, so there was that, at least.
"If I hear mention of that name I’ll be sure to investigate. Is she your sister?"
She looked too young to be a mother. But then again, Sasori Banchou’s sister was rather youthful as well. In any case, she cared enough about this girl to go about trying to find her, so they must have been close. That was reason enough for him to want to help.
Whoa.
Michiko stared up at the behemoth before her, speechless. Michiko Malandro, who always had something to say, was speechless. She'd never seen someone so big in her entire life! Was this guy even real? That hair was ridiculous but those muscles were even more so, and she was convinced he had to be on steroids or something. His steely, eagle-like gaze wasn't enough to cause her to break eye contact.
Eventually though, she managed to speak up.
"You are huge, like damn! You ever noticed that?"
Of course he'd noticed Michiko. He dealt with his own size everyday, didn't he? A smile crawled onto her face as she sized him up again, deciding that for one, he wasn't that bad looking, and for two, having a guy this big on her side could be extremely beneficial.
"Yeah, her name's Hatchin. I get it's kinda weird but, it's what she goes by. And uh...nah, she ain't my sister, but she's not my daughter either, so don't get the wrong idea."
"She's...a girl I'm taking care of. And I really gotta find her."

Dead? Like hell.
When she snapped back to 'reality', that had been the first thought in her mind. You are dead. But almost instantly, Michiko had thrown that aside, because there was absolutely no fucking way. Sure she lived dangerously, and sure she had had a number of close calls, but there was no way she was actually dead right now. The last she remembered, she was with Hatchin, about to see Hiroshi.
What the hell had happened? Suddenly she was here and she couldn't remember a damn thing. She still had her scooter and a gun for some reason. If she was really dead, well then, shit. If she wasn't, then there was something important she needed to take care of. Something she cared about more even than her own death.
Michiko found a piece of paper and pen and crudely scribbled a drawing, then wrote 'Hatchin' on the corner. She smiled a bit as she placed a cigarette in her mouth and lit it while walking to the nearest populated area.
Once there, she shoved the paper in the face of the nearest passerby, speaking loudly and rudely.
"Hey, hey! Turn around!"
"You seen a girl that looks like this anywhere?"
