Kaneki limped to the sofa, slowly sitting down on it before taking a look at his leg. “S-Shit.” He cursed as he pulled up his trouser leg and saw the bruise. It won’t last for long. He thought, as he pulled the trouser leg down and laid back on the sofa.

Eyes went wide upon seeing he was injured, the girl going to fetch supplies, managing to find a tensor bandage. “Let me wrap i- i know it’ll heal quick but i’d feel better if it was wrapped.”

“Saiko, don’t.” He groaned as he slowly moved his leg onto the floor. “It’ll heal fast, trust me. But get me some ice.” He smiled painfully as he tried to get comfy on the sofa.

Leaning into his touch the girl moved her head to look at his expression, her cheeks heating up as she saw his shocked look, had her affections been unknown till now? “Someone like me?“she assumed it was meant to be a compliment but who knew? “Well I- I love the way you treat me a-and your kindness,"she stopped, trying to think of a way to condense her feelings.

He chuckled slightly as he pulled the girl into his arms, cuddling her. “I guess I can make an exception.” He muttered as he kissed her cheek.
