screenshots were good for the early parts, though i did end up referring to some more official renders as well for smaller details.

these are some early sketches. they're not exactly great, but sometimes you need to get the bad work out of your system.

these are the two poses i proposed, I ended up going with the one on the right.

early versions. the zine mods asked that I size him up more.

A lot of this was rendering and adding details. a lot of details, his design has a lot of little buttons and buckles and stitching you don't really notice until they're missing.

Assan was more or less a two layer job, so i finished him last.

This version is more or less the same as the final, without all the extra flair. The extra shine on the armor and distress on the leather gave it just the right feel i think.
