People use the “nice guy” meme may too much. If you lash out at a girl who turn you down and then yeah, you’re an entitled piece of shit. However, expressing sexual desire doesn’t make you a “nice guy”, it’s part of a natural biological drive. We wouldn’t be living in a planet of over 6bn and our species would’ve died out long ago if our ancestors had no biological drive to procreate.  Lamenting and expressing your woes doesn’t make you a “nice guy”, that just makes you human. Wanting to feel desired and experience sex and romance is part of a human need. Lonely humans die out younger.  If you no longer bendover backwards, that doesn’t make you a “nice guy”, that just makes you wise knowing that there’s no point in investing and going the extra mile if there’s no chance of it paying out. It’s true politeness is the bare minimum for human decency but just like the girl doesn’t owe anyone sexual favours, you don’t owe anyone your time, attention, resources or effort either.  Don’t let anyone ever shame you for it.
