i've been in hange fandom for two years now always checking the tags and i have never seen anyone draw them with their hairstyle as short as it actually is in canon let alone so perfectly, the final result is so stunning even though it's simple composition because your use of value is literally photo perfect it seems real, i can't stop looking at it. thank you so much for drawing them so accurately and perfectly🥹

Spellcaster - Tattoos spells on skin with henna. Some types of henna in this world are permanent, some fade quickly, so it's another variant of how long the spell is in effect.

The types of spells are mainly protective, some are for power enhancement/boost or for countering spells.

She's the go-to artist for light body mods (piercing, and tattoos) and hairstyling. Without her, the gang would lose some of their swag and protection.

Valdē is a fire type Nyikaari (original fantasy race/species), one of very few on the island.

"They/Them" pronouns in common tongue

They resonate with the element fire, able to connect to it's frequency and manipulate it.

Valdē has a strong sense of responsibility, they protect their family and fight for their well-being. They aren't very talkative, though they have strong connections to their kin.

They needed to be stable enough to survive, they hold onto their sense of self very strongly, to the point of not very often expressing vulnerability.

They learned to move carefully, so as to not break or burn what they touched. That, added to their agility, made them impressively silent (which is essential for navigating through the woods without alarming predators)

Hassimir would describe them as bright as the sun, sharp and resolute, unshakeable. Valdē, to him, was a wonder to behold. Their face rarely betrayed their inner world.

Their family would describe them as strong, warm and reliable, a light in the darkness.
