also, i’m sorry if i upset anyone by posting that screenshot of finn bennett in the trailer last month? i’m getting some replies (that i can’t even see because tumblr automatically hid them?) and it’s throwing me off because i don’t think the actor has done anything problematic to warrant such reactions so i’m assuming his character did something to make him hateable LOL

i’m a ASOIAF fan account (and bennett was just in an ASOIAF project!) so i was excited to see the fact that i would be familiar with most of the cast (ejiofor and reinsve along with duplass i already knew because i’ve followed their previous other projects! bennett is a new actor to me)

i haven’t even seen the film </3 (i tend to not go to the movie theaters because i like to take my parents out but they don’t speak english so i prefer to wait for digital so it might be dubbed for them!) super excited for it however!!!!

i’ve mentioned it before but i’m hungry as fuck to be able to finally write some deep dives on it on my main account where i mostly discuss horror. i’m frankly looking forward to seeing clark’s character the most because from the trailers it seemed as though he was experiencing some paranoia? and then i find out he’s a little more morally gray than i originally thought which is sooo delicious. let’s do it baby i know the law. no one’s gonna take you away from me (unless the backrooms do 💔)

i was just excited to see the film to begin with because ive been following the backrooms shorts on youtube for a while but i was excited as fuck to see finn bennett attached to it because i’d just seen him in akotsk a few months ago!

i’m already familiar with chiwetel ejiofor and renate reinsve’s work so i’m excited to see them as leads again (plus mark because of creep and the creep tapes) 😛 even more so because i hear there’s a lot more moral grayness than just “good people stuck in unfortunate circumstances”. (i’ve successfully avoided a Lot of spoilers and even if i got spoiled it feels much more necessary to experience it firsthand regardless!)

this is basically a thirst blog though so i’ll be posting analysis only on my main blog LOL but i wanted to yap more about it. the only complaint i hear is that it’s nothing like the roblox games which feels so ?
