Ultraísta live in 3D

Nigel Godrich’s band Ultraísta, together with Crack Magazine, have released a 3D VR performance , which was recorded and mixed by Mikko.

Colouring have released a new song called Beautiful Life, which Mikko produced together with Gianluca Buccellati.

Thom Yorke has released a new live video of his live show Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes. 

Mikko did the audio mix for the video release.

The Hot Rats, which is the side-project of Supergrass members Gaz Coombes and Danny Goffey, have just released a 10 year anniversary edition of their album “Turn Ons”. 

Mikko recorded a new single for the band as part of the release, which was produced by Nigel Godrich.

Laura Bettinson (FEMME, Ultraísta) has just released her first track with her new project Lau.ra. Sideways, which Mikko mixed is out now on Need Want records and has already received radio play on BBC 6Music and has been featured in Mixmag.

Thom Yorke performed three songs live on Jimmy Kimmel with long-time collaborator Nigel Godrich and visual artist Tarik Barri. I was there to supervise the broadcast mix on behalf of Thom and Nigel.

I’m back out on tour mixing for Thom Yorke. Following the release of his new album, Anima, Thom is on the road again with long-time collaborator Nigel Godrich and visual artist Tarik Barri, playing shows across the US and Canada, including the Austin City Limits festival.

The Seeker album by composer Rachel Fuller has been announced and will be released June 2020. Featuring Pete Townshend, Elton John, Emeli Sande, Sunidhi Chauhan and Nakhane on vocals.

It’s been exciting working on this project as co-producer and mixer and I’m looking forward to it being released next year!

Colouring have released a new song Oh My God, which I produced and co-mixed along with mix engineer Lexxx. 

The song features on the new Fifa 20 soundtrack and was released by Interscope.

Mikko has mixed the new album by Fred Deakin (Lemonjelly) called “The Lasters”. A Kickstarter campaign for the album has just started and already reached half its goal in the space of a few days.

Glasxs has released her new single “Bebek Bana Her Şeyi Anlat” on Epic Istanbul and Sony Music Turkey, which Mikko produced and mixed.

Mikko left the studio in December to head out on the road with Thom Yorke to mix shows on his sold out US tour.

This picture is from the LA show where Thom, collaborator Nigel Godrich and visual artist Tarik Barri were joined on stage by Flea and drummer Joey Waronker.

Mikko is very pleased to have worked with Matthew Herbert on his new Brexit Big Band album, The State Between Us, which features over a 1000 Europeans. 

Recorded across Europe with local musicians here’s a photo from the sessions at Musigrama studios in Madrid.

The album will be out on the 29th March 2019.

Tender (Partisan Records) have released the first two tracks of their forthcoming second album, which Mikko recorded and co-mixed with producer Luca Buccellati.
