no. If nothing else, I don’t need other avatars trampling all over my island. It’s quite small and I’d prefer not to have any residual… energy left over of someone else’s feeding, especially if they serve something other than The One Alone.

no. Believe it or not… this *is* actually feeding me. Apparently this persons drive to get to know me (biblically) stems from a sort of desperate loneliness they think only a poor lonely light house keeper would understand and sympathize with. My continued rejection is actually… sustaining to some amount. My patron is… satisfied with this.

fun has never been my objective. I am growing to… enjoy would be the wrong word, per se, but, hm, relish? That feels closer. Relish these two. Once I became accustomed to their presence, I could see Forsaken leeching at their souls. They both crave attention, validation, love. One is simply louder about it. I’m not being so bold as to whisk them to The Fog Dimension, but… I am not sitting idle either.

I don’t like them and I am trying to get rid of them. However, while they’re here and being… incredibly annoying, I will simply… take advantage. A mark, some would call it. Honestly, I would have left them alone if they hadn’t been so damn irritating, antisocial to my way of life, grating. Imagine that. They could have walked away unscathed. Unfortunately for everyone involved, they will not.

"There was scratching and barking at our front door and when I checked, I saw Nic there. Honestly jarring when I only saw him once before Harold and him disappeared. Anyways, after some kind of difficult communication he led me to Harold, somewhere close to South Oxford I think, and there's Harold on the pavement, fully unconcious. He didn't look well, Faye"

"I mananged to wake him up, and he seemed confused but I chalked it up to him maybe needing to feed. But the confusion was 'cause he didn't remember anything. Whatever happened to him and before that. He recognised me but it defintely wasn't in a good way, then he was panicking, and was a bit of an asshole about wording, and disappeared."

[Henry sits in the corner of the christmas party with a cup of hot cocoa cooling in his hands untouched. It's quite ominous, honestly. He just stares at everyone else without saying anything.]

[A puppet click-clacks her way over to him, excitement clear on her face while she attempts to quiet her wooden steps. The attempt is an unsuccessful one, but she doesn't mind. He's worked here for more than long enough that most anyone overlooks her oddness.]

"Henry!"

[Merione whistles, giving him a smile. She also holds a cup, but it is full to the brim with just marshmallows. And a few small spiders, which promptly tuck themselves under the top layer at a click from Merione.]

[He looks up, clearly happy to see her though his face doesn't change.]

"Hello Marione. How are you?"

[It scoots over so Marione can join it on the stack of boxes.]

"Quite well. You doing better?"

[She sits next to it, tilting the cup up to 'drink' a few of the marshmallows. The spiders hiding within also tumble into her mouth, clicking indignantly as they go.]

[She does miss actual hot cocoa, but he's loath to grow mold again. He glances over to it, checking if there's any damage to it or anything. She hasn't heard of it getting hurt recently, but might as well check.]

[He feels this is not a good time to bring up his plot to psychologically torture Darrien... so he continues with small talk.]

"Are you enjoying the party?"

[She smiles and wiggles the cup in her hand. A spider within clicks indignantly at being disturbed. She's given herself a bit of a repaint recently, going over old 'tattoos' on her arm with new paint where they had chipped.]

"I think I saw Faye spike the eggnog. I don't know if you drink, but watch out."
