My father suffers from chronic kidney failure and urgently needs regular dialysis, but in Gaza, hospitals barely function, medicine is scarce, and transportation is nearly impossible due to fuel shortages. Every day, I watch his condition worsen, unable to get him the treatment he needs. With no way to work or earn money, I am left with no choice but to ask for help.

My friend Noah is living off very little in a house of three people and nobody in the household has a job due to disability and just how hard it is to get a job currently.

It took a lot for him to feel vulnerable enough to even make a gofundme and I’d really like to see him and his family do better and get to eat more often.

I live with my father (63) and my brother (14), in Section 8 housing. My family makes very little money through SSDI, specifically my father, who is unable to work, and my brother is too young. I (18) am actively searching for a job, though with no luck so far, and as I am the only one able to work, it has put a strain on us. A heavy one. We hardly have any money once bills are paid we are left with almost nothing. The most we’ve been left with in the past months was $30. We make $245 off of SNAP food stamps, though this has proven to never be enough for any of us.

We also have no beds, no washer or dryer, nor do we have any furniture except for one recliner. My dad sleeps on an air mattress with a hole, my brother sleeps in the chair, and I sleep on the floor.

LGBTIQ REFUGEES UPDATE & URGENT APPEAL

Hi dear friends, supporters, and kind hearts.

I'm so sorry for being silent these past days. My Tumblr account was suspended from posting, but thankfully it has been restored, and I can finally update you.

In our last post, we were still in Kakuma Refugee Camp, Kenya. However, after the Kenyan government clearly told us they have no space for queer refugees, we had no choice but to flee once again. The only nearby option for us was South Sudan — a country known to be extremely dangerous, but like before, we had no other option. We fled because we simply want to live.

The Harsh Reality We Are Facing Right Now

Things have not improved; instead, they have become worse.

Daily Starvation: We are barely surviving. Most days, we only manage to have water and porridge. If we are lucky, we go to the bushes to hunt or beg homophobic locals for work — which is both humiliating and dangerous — but we have no choice. We are doing everything we can to survive.

Medical Crisis: We cannot access proper medical care. Most of the UNHCR clinic doctors discriminate against us because of our identities. We currently have a big unpaid bill at a private hospital, and several of our members are sick, including a comrade who was violently attacked last week and is now seriously injured. We cannot afford treatment or even basic medications. Any support here will be literally life-saving.

Shelter Emergency: The UNHCR shelters are too few and too small for us all. Many of us are forced to sleep outside, and now it's the rainy season. We stand all night just to make space for others to lie down. We urgently need $750 to build additional shelters so that our members, including mothers with their children, can at least sleep without being soaked in the rain.

Unfortunately since I made this post in order my community to get help. We've only gotten one who donated 6 cad. Please am humbly requesting for your kindness hearts to donate on our behalf so that we can survive. It's now 3 days since 6 cad was donated. Please we are in need of 1000 cad to stock foods, clean water and pay fir our medications in this horrible war times in sudan. The day that passes is what we count cause we don't know whether this war will live us alive not only that but also our sexualities is big crime to these homophobics so we are avery big target to the host community and also the government of sudan.
