Epic the Musical - Aeolus

For some reason, in the song, "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer." from Jorge Rivera-Herrans' Epic the musical, when Aeolus laughs, they remind me of Amethyst from Rebecca Sugar's Steven Universe. So I used that as the base for this character design. It just seems to fit the character. ^^'

I tried to look for Greek symbols for wind and storm on google for the bag and Aeolus' headpiece.

Sugar Pie Honey Bunch

Closing on week 4 of recovery and onward to week 5. Been eating a lot better since the surgery.

Inspired from a scene in the 2015 Strange Magic by George Lucas.

Gallbladder has been successfully removed! Now I just need to deal with a month of recovery. ^^'

Concept Art #3

I was inspired for the moment. Was watching reactions on watching, "Disney's Sword in the Stone". My memory seems to have gotten bad cause I can't really remember how this idea started. I guess it was a "What if...?" question. I pictured an image of Briar Rose/Aurora holding the sword from the anvil that was on top of a stone. Then a scene came to mind... Sorry... a lot of info dumping. Please bare with me...

"Do forgive us, your Majesty. But hundred years ago, your father, King Stefan, vowed that no man shall removed this sword if the blood of Kings does not flow in their veins. For you see, the King had only one child and it was said she was put under a spell to sleep for a hundred years. When the King was on his deathbed and had no worthy heir to take the throne, he made that vow so that perhaps God himself might choose the next King. This not only proves that you are destined for the throne, but that you are the King's only daughter..."

Inspired from Disney's Sword in the Stone and the tale of Sun, Moon and Talia. And I know one is from England and the other from France and I know that this particular Italian Sleeping Beauty story is... darker than the Grimm Brothers. However it just seemed to work and I thought it was a cool idea. ^^'

Update

I will be getting surgery to remove my gallbladder on June 30, 2026. Due to getting less able to eat anything and lack of sleep... I don't know if I'll post for a while. Figure I should give you all an update. Thank you for sticking with me for so long. You are awesome.

Just in case...

This might be TMI, but I figure I should give you all a heads up...

I have a lot of stones in my gallbladder and I haven't been able to eat as much as I should due to fear of a gallbladder attack. Since I am considered a "not urgent" and my family Doctor is overbooked, there is more possibility of me having to go to the hospital because my gallbladder raptured. So if I don't post for a while, either I have my bad writer's block, short attention, lack of interest or I am in the hospital. Then again having the stress of trying to deal with my gallbladder and that I'm pretty much a ticking time bomb, might be another reason why I have bad writer's block. -_-

Anyway, thank you for sticking with me. You guys are awesome. Stay safe.
