Guess who started the school year with a stomach bug?

This miserable person.

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, I forced myself to go to work because it’s far too early in the year to call in substitutes. I basically chugged way more Pepto than is probably healthy, cried between class changes, dragged myself home…cried more, and slept.

And then I spent the weekend sleeping it off.

All that to say why I wasn’t around much this weekend. ;D

Now that I’m feeling somewhat alive again…hi. }

“Hey right back at you.” Mm, he didn’t feel like putting Sei down yet. Instead, he walked them to the couch, sitting down and setting him on his lap. There, that was more comfortable.

“”You hungry? I was thinking of orderin’ somethin’.”

“That...sounds nice.” For someone so startled mere seconds ago, it took mere seconds for Sei to practically melt into the other’s hold. He’s content here, and it shows on his face, and in his eyes, which have begun to lose that lifeless black color, and slowly taking on a purple hue.

Slowly, Sei lets go of Alex’s neck, offering a better position for him to nestle his face into Alex’s shoulder. “What’d you have in mind?”

Scoops him up bridal style and gives him a smooch.

Releases a surprised squeak as he clutches onto Alex’s shoulders, suddenly airborne. It takes a mere second for his surprise to turn to a delighted smile, and the tight grip on his shoulders becomes a warm embrace around his neck. “Hello.”
