ABOUT ISHIDA SUI...

It actually amazes me how brilliant Ishida Sui actually is, yes his art style is wonderful, yes Tokyo Ghoul’s plot is marvelous but what I mean is that he is so smart, he knows all kinds of things: from the meanings of flowers to Hindu astrology to Tarot Cards; and he somehow incorporates all those things to the TG plot without us realizing it. He plans the plot of the manga volumes ahead and surprises us with a development that no one ever expected even if there were hints of it everywhere. More than a great mangaka, I think Ishida Sui is a very smart man.
