logan-rigby:
Something he’d always liked about Ezra was his willingness to try new things rather than just being content with familiar experiences. And it showed, very clearly, with how eager he was to join him. “The New York Philharmonic’s doing a show in September. It’s Star Wars-themed, which I think is really cool— care to be my date?” It was meant to be a friendly term, of course. “A Catholic prep school…” He repeated, before bursting into a fit of laughter, clutching his stomach as he leaned forward. “God, I can’t unsee it.” He wiped a single tear from the corner of his eye before once more leaning back. “Seriously, though, give yourself more credit. You’re a sight for sore eyes. Trust me.”
Ezra’s eyes widened and he gasped softly. “Star Wars orchestra, are you for real? That sounds so cool! Yes, I’m your date, please don’t get another more attractive one,” he laughed, wrinkling his nose a bit at how Logan laughed so much at the thought of Ezra in an ill fitting suit, but still he liked seeing and hearing a friend laugh so well at something. “You gon’ unsee my Catholic prep school comment when I get myself a new suit,” he assured him, lightly nudging at his foot under the table. “How dyou even know about this stuff happening? Like, dyou, uh, become part of an emailing list or something? That’s how I find most my concerts. It sucks when the good shows are on weeknights, like I gotta be at work the next day, yknow.”
libby-rigby:
Libby was grateful for the comfort Ezra gave out through the hug, and smiled softly as he spoke; it was oddly relaxing being around him, and wasn’t sure whether it was familiarity or simply him, that made her feel that way. “Two of the organisers’ employees called in sick, and they need help with the whole event. Which is why I’ve been made to ask people to go to the event, but.. I-I’m.. I don’t really want to, it uhm..” Libby trailed off, the sentence makes me uncomfortable not quite leaving her lips. “So if you’re really serious about helping out, they’d– I’d, really appreciate it.”
“And your first thought was to ask people in the book store, not call up your friends or whoever else you might know?” Ezra teased, patting her shoulder a bit before letting go. “I’m just playin’, you got me, you do. How bout we grab a coffee or something and you tell me what all this is about and what all I gotta do?” he asked, offering her his arm.
presleymartin:
“Serious as a heart attack, way to use your words there Ezra.” Presley set the phone down and glanced down at it, maybe she was overreacting, after all it was in the past and that’s where it should remain. “I’m not obsessing it’s just a curious thought. Different situations.”
Ezra laughed sheepishly, rubbing his head in embarrassment as he realized he may have been projecting himself onto her a bit there. “Well, yknow, curiosity killed the cat and all that, right?”
brookeadams:
“In that case, I’d feel awful because here I am, rambling away about my own problems—” Brooke replied, shaking her head. “I’m all ears, okay? I owe you that much,” After all, he’d been so kind to her, the least she could do was attempt to repay him. “What’s on your mind?”
Ezra shook his head and smiled because he was always used to putting other people’s problems before his own. “Oh, no, don’t you worry your pretty little head about me like that, Miss Brooke, my problems ain’t much, I’d just be askin’, uh, standard... relationship advice, but I’m not quite yet in one, you see...?”
ivymanning:
Her jaw dropped, eyes narrowing at him as he finished her drink. As if she didn’t have the money or means to get another. Part of her didn’t truly care anyways, not with Ezra. “Heyyy, that was —” she paused before realizing there wasn’t a need to finish the sentence. “Yeahh – this line is ridiculous.” A slight frown formed on her lips. “I’m about to go flirt with a security guard to get ahead” Her head nodded in the direction of the two men guarding the entrance.
Ezra brushed her hair to one side so it was out of his face and held onto her free shoulder, looking ahead. Being tall had its pros and cons in a concert. “I don’t think flirting with anyone will get you past the wall, besides, that’s where all the VIP kids are gathered, it’ll be a while before we can push up front, just don’t lose me.”
lilysilvax:
Lilith glanced at the male with a confused expression on her face when he asked if she was moving. “God, I wish,” she commented on a snort, then proceeded to shake her head. “But it’s your lucky day because you’re the winner of everything in this box — and don’t worry, it’s all untouched and unused.”
Ezra laughed weakly and shook his head, blushing at the sight of some of the items in her box. “N...No, no thank you, ma’am, I’m quite alright without those things. Though if they’re all untouched and unused I’m sure you’d make a killing off them on Amazon.”
avarcyes:
“Hopefully I don’t have either of those,” Ava said on a smile, laughing softly when he told her what he was allergic to, though she wouldn’t ever dare repeat those words to anyone. Nevertheless, she couldn’t help but grin at him. When he tasted it, Ava felt her heart pick up a beat as she wanted his approval above all else. She’d tried hard on this recipe, and knowing it was perfect meant a lot to her. “Really? I was thinking it would be good in the morning, but nothing that makes someone more thirsty or just overwhelmed by it. It’s feuilletée, of course.”
Ezra nodded, finishing the rest of the pastry while he was at it. “Yeah, yeah, I get that most peanut butter flavored anythings make you thirsty as all get out, like I have no idea why I enjoyed peanut butter banana sandwiches in my youth, I must’ve just really liked the wet cement in my mouth, but yknow this is nice. The feuilletée keeps it nice and airy. I think it’d be good in the morning but you can’t just have one.”
morgitz:
“Maybe so. I wouldn’t know.” Morgan shrugged, sitting down once he had pulled out the chair for her. “I just want an iced coffee, to be honest. Hopefully he won’t take too long to show up.”
“Yeah, I gotchu,” Ezra said with a nod before falling in line. He got her iced coffee and a dirty chai for himself, waiting by the counter before rejoining her at the table with their drinks. “Yknow, I don’t know if you understood me or not earlier, but that was me asking for your name... I’m Ezra Blake, by the way.”

@ezrasays: I JUST SWALLOWED AN ICE CUBE OMG!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I THINK IM DYING
“Sorry,” Adri muttered when the door to the closed bedroom opened. Her intent had been to bring her coat and return to the party, but she couldn’t help the temptation to lay down for a few minutes before entering the crowded house. She hadn’t expected this much people, nor had she anticipated the slight pressure on her temple that signalled a soon to be full blown headache. “I just needed a few moments to take a breather. Did you need to put your coat down on the bed?”
Ezra was your typical Southern gentleman with all the charms and values instilled in him by his old fashioned grandparents since birth. But at the same time there’s no crazy like real repressed crazy. He’d done his fair share of tomfoolery in college, so while it might be a shock to most people who thought they knew him, it was nothing at all for him to be a bit drunk and stumbling somewhere to make out with a cute boy. They’d wandered into a cool and quiet room when they realized it wasn’t entirely vacant. Embarrassed, the other boy took off but Ezra’s head was spinning too much to follow. Sighing heavily, he hid his face in his hands, rubbing his temples a little too while he was at it. He didn’t even hear what she’d said, he just croaked out a, “I’m real sorry you had to see that, miss...”
Now into her third Manhattan, Ivy took another sip before feeling the tug on her arm. She wasn’t one to be that much of a light-weight, but there was surely something in the whiskey. Her brows furrowed in slight confusion, Ivy looked up to the person beside her and only stumbled out a single word “–What?”
Ezra took the drink from Ivy since he hadn’t had one yet and he had to fight a bunch of teenage girls in the merch line so he desperately needed the alcohol. “I said they’re out of your size, so I got you a large,” he said after chugging her drink, crushing the plastic cup and tossing it into a nearby trash can like taking a shot with a basketball. “Have you been here this whole time instead of trying to get into the crowd by the front of the stage? I can’t believe you, Ivy... alright, we gotta get in there before the headliners come on.”
alison-harper:
“Wow,” she said with faux anger as he made the quip about books. It was Allie’s dream to have a library in her home. She kept every book she ever read and wanted an entire wall lined with them. The problem was, she just didn’t have the space for it. “I’ll let the dust comment go because while I don’t like it, you’re not entirely wrong.”
Ezra laughed when he seemed to have won this round and finished his last onion ring. “S’ok, you got somethin’ to say about cooking now? ‘Cause you could, I don’t mind. You know, I actually - you remember how in Beauty and the Beast, he’s like I’ll get this girl a library, girls love libraries, and he gives her his huge library? I want a kitchen like that. Not, like, that huge, but I want the walls filled with kitchen and food things and then with the ladder that rolls around, yknow? I’ve always loved that.”
ellaportermitchell:
“Well, I’m not a superhero, but I do like 80s pop music,” Ella said, grinning. “Okay, sounds like a plan. One, two, three…” she said, shaking her fist and revealing scissors.
Ezra was almost frustrated at how good they both were at rock paper scissors. What was supposed to be best two out of three quickly turned into three out of four, four out of five, and so on til they got to nine of ten and she won. “Man, I was ‘bout ready to just buy one record and you buy the other,” he laughed, sticking the record he was holding back into the box.
logan-rigby:
“Alright, then.” He shrugged, letting the topic of things he wasn’t familiar with reach its own conclusion. A light-hearted laugh reverberate from deep within his chest, causing his shoulders to tremble in his amusement towards the other. “Yeah, that’s it, exactly. It was a charity event, a bunch of really talented kids playing classical music to raise awareness for autism. It was quite inspiring, actually.” He nodded. “But yeah, fancy shit, fancy people. If you’d like, we can go to one together. I bet you’d look like a real snack in a suit.” A wink, meant to be more playful than anything, and a charming smile.
Ezra smiled at Logan’s description of the symphony experience. For some reason he’d imagined an orchestra of adult musicians with people in red carpet worthy clothes milling about in the lobby and drinking champagne before the show or something like that, something where he would feel so uncomfortable and out of place. He should’ve known that Logan was as much of a Good Samaritan as his sister. “I’d love to! Just let me know when! I can’t remember the last time I put on a suit for anything, though, I guess it’s high time I get a new one. Oh hush, you probably fill out a suit much better than I would, I usually look like I just stepped out of the last period of a Catholic prep school...”
casemitchell:
He’d always hated going to places like these, as he held no interest towards anything that had to do with home appliances and furnishings, especially when he was with his mother, who tended to take hours just to choose the same things for their house, which he didn’t really understand. And while he wasn’t with his mother now, it didn’t make the experience any more pleasant. “No, it’s not neat,” he said with some despondence. “We’ve been here forever and I don’t see anything I like.” He leaned against their shopping basket, dropping his head, until the word candies was mentioned. “You can make candy?”
Ezra nodded excitedly. “Mhm! For this mold, hm, I was actually thinking of using it to make fun shaped sugar cubes, but I guess I’d make like a jolly rancher hard type of candy too, since it’s gems and jewels. It’d be so pretty! We can make ‘em whatever flavors you like! Alright, alright, I’ll get this and we can go to your store,” he laughed a bit at Casey’s boredom, quickly checking out so they could be on their way. He could never escape this store without spending at least a little bit of his money. “What kinda stuff dyou think is neat?” he asked as he tucked his receipt into his wallet.
