Juliette had not been paying attention while walking through the party when all of a sudden she was sitting in Freddie's lap. She smiled down at him, relaxing for a moment. "Hello, handsome." She rested her hand on his chest, looking around the party. Everything was going well so far. "Let's say ten minutes. You deserve a little more attention."
"Ten whole minutes? I'm flattered." Freddie leaned in close to her ear and whispered, "I'd better make the most of them." Despite being in a room full of people, knowing fine well that shenanigans like these would likely end up on Gossip Girl–where William would see–he took the opportunity to trail some lingering kisses from her jawline down to her shoulder. "You look incredible, Juliette."
