Yvonās Paris of the 1920s: A Look Back On the French Capital Nearly 100 Years Ago
Born in Bordeaux, the French photographer Jean Pierre Yves Petit (1886ā1969) moved to Paris as a young man; there he parlayed a childhood passion for photography into a job at the august culture magazine LāIllustration, adopting the pen name Yvon to avoid confusion with a popular portrait photographer named Pierre Petit.
Yvon also drew inspiration from Parisās moody weather. By exploiting the romantic potential of Parisās clouds, mist and fog, in their ceaseless interplay with the sun, he created images that āstand well apart from views made by so many other photographers, who usually preferred sunny weather.ā
My camera failed to advance the film and created an interesting composite image

March 14, 2016 Took a trip to a fake beach aka the salt lake.
I went to the beach with my 1957 Kodak Pony IV and all my photos came back super hazy and old-looking. It is okay if you want to pretend I took these is 1957
