Because, as this answerer has answered in a previous ask, this is an archive blog. Literally, it’s for us to keep track of our own photos that we like. Even though the boot has been leaked (poor kid it got leaked from lmao) we as a blog respect the NFT date and will continue to respect that date.

How could someone go about getting gifted this bootleg?

I’m pretty much inexperienced in this whole bootleg trading system but I’m willing to bet that you’d have to get lucky. Maybe if you know/run into the right people and they happen to be nice, they’ll gift you the new boot. Also, I do believe there’s a (lower quality) version floating around somewhere.

Hey guys, new(ish) member here. Now I know there’s been a leaked link for the second boot, and I know access to it’s been turned off. Yes, I understand that some people might be disappointed (or maybe something a little bit more passionate), but please don’t get angry at the person who turned off the access. I am not saying everyone is doing this, but those who are, please stop.

Why? The link “owner” is a minor. And the email attached to the link is their school email address. Yes, yes, they probably shouldn’t have used their school email to host the boot, but we all make mistakes. I understand that some might be really excited to get a new boot, but please, understand their situation.

The bootmaster set a NFT (not for trade) date on it: May 30, 2017. Generally, it’s nice to honor their wishes and not share the actual video until that date since they did go through the trouble of recording it, which is incredibly risky. It may also lead to the person who leaked it to not ever being able to get another video from that person again. Like, I get that the fandom wants (and needs lol) it but there also has to be a certain level of secrecy.
