Sorry for the non-sims post! I haven’t entered my game in a while. I finally dared go out after a looooong time. My mental health really needed to take a break, hang with a friend and just feel some fresh air on my skin (and of course, beer lmao) I’ve been careful and will always be, but I’ll try to go out at least once a week. We’ve been in quarantine for almost 5 months now, it’s a lot.

I take back what I wrote yesterday. The Sims Mobile is a shit game and I would advise you to not even try it. As you progress, the game gets harder and it kinda forces you to spend real money so you can actually get to complete the missions since the most important ones are timed.

I mean “kinda forces” because there are these currency thingies that can get your sim to full health or just instantly complete a mission. Obviously these things are sold for real money. It’s getting harder and harder to complete stuff if you are absolutely against wasting money on shitty mobile games.

I’m gonna delete it, I hate it, lol. Hope it crashes and burns.

On the other hand, I played a bit of Coffee Talk today and it was comfy af, I recommend it. Have a great weekend!

These weeks have been pretty weird and I also downloaded The Sims Mobile. It’s pretty grindy and it really tries to force you to spend money if you are impatient, but it’s cool if you ignore that and just take it for what it is. I definitely open that thing up more often than TS4.

Anyway, I’ve been watching the X-Files. I never got to watch it before and it’s pretty good, I recommend it! It’s been released on Amazon, but I’m pretty sure you can also torrent it or find it somewhere else.

there seems to be a revolution where people are finally realizing how silly high poly cc is. and with high poly we're talking stuff that's like 30k polygons and more. keeping one or two items above game ready (10k) poly in your game is fine, just don't put it on every Sim or in every build.

but when there's ppl who's cc is always disgustingly high poly, it's gonna fry your pc eventually. that's items that are always 30k and more. 1 (one) top at 50k. a pair of shoes at 30k. a hair at 80k. now say you have 20 pairs of shoes and 20 tops and 20 hairs. that's 20×50 000, 20×30 000 and 20×80 000. I don't math well but I'd say farewell graphics card. and this is just an example. that and the fact that people charge real actual money for it.

of course, this is just my opinion. but unless you hate your pc, check the poly count using sims 4 studio before you add things to your game.

I should be working right now, but here I am. I can’t focus haha. Last night I got the opportunity to participate in the podcast of a good friend of mine. It all started like this, he’s been collecting movie tickets for a very long time and he found the hidden stash some weeks ago. He wants to invite different friends to talk about specific movies and I got to talk about two horror movies! The Blair Witch Project (1999) and The Others (2001). I also got to pick three songs from the same “~era”. I’m really happy tbh, horror and music are my passion and to be able to talk freely with a friend about both of them while being recorded was a first for me.

Here’s a song I chose for the finale, lmao. It came out the same year Blair Witch did.

Rosario Bléfari, the artist that plays Silvia Prieto, passed away on the 6th of July of 2020. She was really amazing. Sorry for the reblog, but it was a cool coincidence! I watched this movie with my boyfriend last night.
