Cornelia Vanderbilt, Wedding gown design by Farquharson & Wheelock, Biltmore House (Biltmore Estate), April 29, 1924.
With Cornelia Stuyvesant Vanderbilt’s father having died in 1914, her mother Edith gave her daughter away.
Vintage 80s style dress (probably made by Pronuptia) used for NSFW photo session (taken and restored from non-existing site). One of my favorite wedding looks - Edwardian, fairy-tale style wedding dress with overall floral lace overlay, transparent puffy sleeves, frills, satin bows and sash. Cathedral-length bouffant veil and white headdress with faux flowers and pearls (worn downside by the way :) ).

Zahia Dehar's naughty wedding dress...
Wow, lovely Margot Robbie as Catherine Earnshaw in a stunning romantic mid-XIX wedding attire. I don't mind that the look isn't historically accurate in relation to the times in which the novel takes place. ;)
Wow, great, gloomy, haunted graveyard photo session in vintage wedding gown. Source: https://www.ashconiglio.com/blog/madalyn-in-the-graveyard/

Love the way how candlelight glides across a satin wedding dress!

Portrait of a Lady by Laurits Tuxen, 1894
This is the essence of Victorian wedding look of late XIX century, i.e. La Belle Epoque. Puffy sleeves, high neck, modest skirt and incredibly thin waistline - like a dragonfly.
Lovely photosession in vintage wedding gown - glamour style typical for late 80s/90s. Shiny satin, ruffles, lace choker neck, puffed sleeves... (source: https://pl.pinterest.com/photobymariezubkova/polly_denisova/) Model: Polly Denisova

Ideal gothic bride look? "Bitter Beuty Wedding Dress" by Phaze Clothing (probably non-existing right now).

Wonderful "Blushing Bride" sexy costume by InCharacter - unfortunately discontinued. It's kinda burlesque style bridal attire.
Vintage bride - Bess McNeill (Emily Watson) form Breaking the Waves (1996) directed by Lars von Trier. One of my favourite wedding looks - classic 70s/80s fairy-tale style wedding dress, typical for manufacturers like Pronuptia or Ellis. This is Edwardian style dress with floral lace frills, sheer polka-dot overlay, layered skirt and satin sash. The bridal attire is accomplished with shoulder-length bouffant veil and white faux flower headdress (headband?).
