been thinking about these two never catching a break while they were separated. ronan's insomnia got worse during his time as a wandering bard where he spent most of his nights clutching his head and crying. for harpe, sleep was only about closing his eyes because enemies in the palace were everywhere, and he couldn't let his facade break.

the only true rest they had was when they reunited and made love for the very first time (releasing all their frustrations and repressed feelings). ronan was able to get through the night without waking from nightmares, and harpe was vulnerable. he was usually the first to get up between him and ronan, but this time he just wanted to stay in bed until late afternoon...

He was always a powerful mage, but he was on the good side. We just didn't think what could happen if he just snapped and decided that things should change according to his ways.

It's interesting how he's still the "same", has the same memories and tries to make the story happen close to the way it happened on the original timeline. (And Elesis is the only one capable of making him run away hskshske such a queen)
