Fuck, now I totally understand why the characters are represented in the circus the way they are:

-Jax is a rabbit because he "hopped" around while homeless, after what he did to his mom.

-Pomni is a jester because she was searching for a purpose and easily adapted to situations, even with a "king" like Caine.

-Ragatha is a doll because her mom manipulated her countless times.

-Gangle is a fragile theater mask because of her medical and emotional condition, plus she's an artist.

-Zooble is a toy with interchangeable parts because they were a person who had to rediscover themselves in different ways, especially because of their work and gender identity.

-And Kinger is a chess king, for obvious reasons, lmao.
