Speed paint of my concept redesign for Marama Dal.

I took a hiatus from Marama Dal, a story on Penana, due to financial issues. Now that that is sorted for now, I can get back to updating.

This is a possible redesign for my protagonist, the Child. I originally didn’t draw them with eyes due to my creative preferences, but after thinking more on the local alian species of the planet, which we’ll see more of later on, I like to think that the Child has eyes, but cover them because they came from a dark crevice and aren’t used to lights and colours. Eventually, they’ll take it off, but that will come later.

At first, Yandere Simulator didn’t interest me at first. It came across as a bunch of anime stereotypes with extra, unnecessary blood. After watching Yandere Dev’s YouTube videos and hearing the work he put into it, I became more interested and started watching Let’s Plays.

What really got me hooked was Ayano Aishi.

An exercise. I always felt drawn to the wadjet eye, despite having a complex relationship with eyes in general, which I can see in my artwork.

It’s fun to experiment with the many different ways to draw it.

Canada sketches Project Canada's Dominion Day episode. I'm drawing the climax, so I have to put as much emotional depth into it as I can.

I've started working with a new drawing app, so exercising the ink tool helps. I'm much better with thin brushes.
