So here's one of my Anderperry Ideas that I wanna write one of these days:
The world has been in too much misery this past few years, and the people above are just not satisfied at the rates of happiness the humans experience before their inevitable demise.
So they tasked angels to go down the earth, disguise themselves as human beings and make their tasked human as happy as possible until their ordered death.
They can't change their human fates, nor do they have a connection to their client's death, but they only follow one rule.
Normally it'll be low ranking angels being delegated to this task due to its main necessity is the capacity to make others happy.
So why is Todd Anderson (or that was his supposed name before he became an angel) a seraph is relegated to a human, lord knows why but he has no reason to interfere, he just has to make this one human happy until his death right?
That's what he thought until he met his human.
an excerpt of scenarios I already wrote while thinking of this:
---------
"So Neil Perry's death, when will it be?"
"That's why we gave you this human, he seems special."
"Oh hey, Neil! Excited for the play?" Todd smiles along with Neil, surprisingly he got quickly acquainted with Neil, and his human friends as well. It will be no lie that he had no such thing as friends above, but these humans made him feel like he's not an angel.
No, such foolish thoughts would be punished when he returns so he stopped his train of thoughts. He shouldn't get attached to them, he'll leave when Neil dies.
"Yeah! I'm so glad that you will be watching me along with the others." He can't lie but the enthusiasm displayed by Neil is infectious and he couldn't help but feel giddy about it too.
He's glad that Neil Perry would be happy, before the 15th of December.
"Oh yeah, when will it be again?" Todd asked.
"Oh, the night of the 15th December!"
And it was like cold water splashed onto his whole body.
His day of death is the day of his play?
His heart already screams at the unfairness of this, and yet he knows he can't do anything about it.
He can't change Neil Perry's fate ... right?
"But please sir, reschedule his death for maybe a week or so, even a day just not at the 15th!"
"Son, I know this might seem unfair but this is Neil Perry's fate, we can't change it unless you want to turn into a fallen angel."
"But, he deserves to be happy at that night!"
"Indeed he does. But what can we do? Even we are just in the mercy of the one above."
Todd cried, and yet his heart was already resolute on what he's gonna do.
He'll make sure that the star of that night will continue to twinkle more.
