So the past two weeks have been insane, but also a good kick back into work. It’s inspiring to get completed work back knowing what you hold in your hands is 100% you and the hours you poured into it. The above image is my first textile design of last year printed on silk charmeuse, and I couldn’t be happier! I’m hoping to incorporate it into the intended design that can be seen in a previous post as soon as fashion student(ly??) possible!

This semester has already kicked off with dress designs , croquis and children’s wear designs due, and I’m hoping I can be as proud of their completed products as the design above.

NEW YEAR, NEW HAIR !

So yesterday, an amazingly open and talented friend of mine made on of my goals come true. To have truly awesome hair that makes me smile constantly! 

I dye my hair often and have had a lot of colours but I often struggle between light and dark colours, warm and cold tones but honestly the truth is 

So I asked scott during the summer to help me attempt this craziness with only an instagram concept picture and harley quinn to go off of. At first we figured we should use temp dyes incase but in the end we went permanent and I am so happy!! it looks fucking awesome!! 

SO here’s to you Scott (look him up on insta @scottagram) and going with my crazy ideas and making me feel beautiful! you always do an amazing job doing (and often fixing) my hairs!!  Love you <3. 

For this year my New Years resolution was to take better care of myself mentally and physically, along with stressing less and spoiling myself more! So with the  new hair I used new makeup, including the better together palette by Too Faced and Kat Von D. its amazing very vivid and usable, and comes with a full sized tattoo liner and better than sex mascara that were all used today. Yesterday and today have been filled with laughs fun and beauty!

This is by far my favourite time of year, the chilled air, dying leaves and the entire spooky feeling. Above all else I enjoy playing around working with prosthetics and fake blood; seeing peoples reactions including one truly shocked gentleman who stopped me in the hall to ask “ are those real?”. For me this isn’t a game but rather a time to walk around showing off something I love without judgement! so enjoy halloween wonder around in creepy/ funny/ sexy costumes and be the you you can’t normally be!

Being a fashion student can be a pain in the ass sometimes but creating things you truly love can make it call worth it. This drape and textile design is one of those things!
