[Mutation AU]

Leon S. Kennedy's theoretical final form, with a Luis for scale.

It's kind of painful initially, and he's afraid he won't be able to come back for this, but a few fights maybe merit Leon achieving a nearly-full or full transformation. I think Krauser (rematch) might be one, or Saddler.

And, uh, the final boss fight of RE9, but Leon loses the ability TO alter the expression of his mutations for the latter half of 9.

In the events of 4- the state of his plaga is progressing too rapidly for it to be safe to use Luis's machine to kill it. He seems to have full control of himself, so they can only hope that he won't die/lose his mind when Saddler [and the Queen plaga] are killed.

He doesn't. Later study reveals that the cocktail of latent/mutated/suppressed T- and G- virus in Leon's body are eating the plaga alive, mutating it and rendering it a mindless slave to Leon's own body, while still being inextricably fused to his circulatory and nervous systems. It cannot be removed, but it is little more than a mindless lump fused to Leon's spine. Leon instead needs to learn to control the unstable abilities it gives him. He can never be fully human again, but he can get close. Superficially. Buried under his skin will always remain the roots or "buds" that can grow into these terrible weapons.

Luis dedicates most of his life immediately after Valdelobos to studying Leon in an attempt to help him gain full control. They're kept in quarantine together for many months.

Devil Leon AU

When Leon wakes up after passing out in the boat in the middle of the lake, he notices that something is off immediately. His hearing had been amplified as he was able to easily pick out the sounds of fluttering leaves and chirping crickets from across the distance shore. His sense of smell was also cranked to the max, and he couldn't help but gag as the rotten smell of Del Lago began to clot inside his nose.

Confused and slightly irritated, Leon simply waves off his new enhanced senses and continues looking for Ashley, but things just keep getting weirder.

No matter how much he runs, he's not getting the least bit tired, in fact he feels REALLY energetic, like he had an endless supply of energy he desperately needs to burn off. He eventually encounters some Ganados and instead of the usual feelings of fear and panic, he instead feels EXCITED.

He dives into the fight without any hesitation, kicking and shooting harder and faster than he's ever done in his life. He can't stop the feral grin the stretches across his face when he sees more Ganados pour into the fray, not caring that he just used the last of his bullets and only has his knife left to depend on. He just simply starts snapping necks and tearing flesh, not noticing the sparks of lightning that are arching off his arms, or the clouds of frost ghosting over his lips

It's not until when the last of his villager falls dead does Leon realize that something is very, very wrong with him. He looks down at the bodies around him before glancing down at his now transformed clawed hands, his fingers tingling as blue sparks flared between them. There are also black scales speckled across his arms like moles, and his teeth felt sharp and jagged like a shark.

What the hell was happening to him?

Devil Leon

If there is one benefit to becoming part demon, it would be that it made his job suck WAY less ass, if Leon was going be honest. No longer did he dread receiving a call in the middle of the night, but instead found himself waiting impatiently by his phone, drumming his fingers against his thigh as demonic energy bubbled underneath his skin.

He needed to get rid of this excess energy and fighting super powered Bio-weapons was the best way to accomplish that. A simple, friendly spar was not going to cut it. If the mission was slightly challenging, he might be even able to relax at least two weeks before the energy would surge within him again.

He even gives specialized phones to Claire, Chris, Sherry, and Jill, telling them if they ever need help, to call him IMMEDIATELY and he can find them by following the tracker on their device.

Chris was the hardest to convince, simply giving Leon this weird look when Leon tells him he can call him for ANYTHING, even if he needs to kill one measly zombie. Chris thinks Leon is taking on this heavy burden because he has powers now and has to protect everyone, which is partially true, but also not the whole truth.

And Leon just let's out this frustrated growl when Chris says he can carry some of Leon's burdens and fight too, and Leon is just like "Listen. I appreciate you trying to be noble and help me out, but honestly? I need to let loose! And this is the safest way for me to do it! Just promise me if shit hits the fan, CALL ME."

So later during Re5, Chris looks down at the phone and at the rapidly deteriorating situation around him, and finally calls Leon. "I'll be there in 10 minutes." Is Leon's quick response before hanging up, and sure enough, ten minutes later the sound of thunder roars over the echo of gunfire.

The infected hostiles that had them surround were now all suddenly encased in giant crystals of ice. Leon was standing in the middle of the chaos, appearing almost out of thin air, transformed and grinning ear from ear. "Sorry if I'm late, North Carolina traffic was bitch!"

He then lifts his arm up, electricity crackling loudly as it swells around him, and then snaps his fingers. The lighting coiled around his body arcs out, striking all the pillars of ice at once, and shatters them into millions of fluttering, twinkling shards.

After the display Sheeva immediately starts smacking Chris's shoulder, angrily yelling "WE HAD THIS MAN ON SPEED-DIAL AND YOU ONLY CALLED HIM NOW?!?!"

((Leon has super speed and literally ran across the ocean from North Carolina all the way to Africa. He does this by freezing the water as he runs across it. THIS MAN IS SO OVERPOWERED NOW IT'S CRAZY))

Devil Leon AU

So in this AU the DevilMayCry world and the Resident Evil world reside in two different dimensions. The demon that tried to possesses Leon originated from the DMC universe, and somehow managed to traverse dimensions. It resided in Leon's world for almost 2 centuries, slowly gathering power in hopes that it would become strong enough to challenge Sparda himself. (Thankfully Leon unintentionally foiled this plan by just being really stubborn)

After the chaos that happens in DMC5, Dante and Virgil are trapped in Hell, but they've managed to find a way out. Things unfortunately go a little sideways when they try to escape, and while Virgil manages to return to their dimension, Dante accidentally ends up the RE universe.

Of course Dante figures out pretty quickly he's not in Kansas anymore. He isn't quite sure what to do about it at first and after a moment of thinking, he's just like, fuck it! I'm treating this as a vacation!

After all, he just got out of Hell after being trapped there for MONTHS with his emo ass brother. And while he was delighted that Virgil was alive and slightly less evil, he desperately needed a break from his emotional constipated twin.

((This was also a good opportunity for Nero and Virgil to bond by going on an adventure to save poor ol' uncle Dante!))

There was also one little thing Dante wanted to check out in this world, and that was the one singular, yet powerful, demonic energy he could sense residing here. Curious, Dante starts tracking the energy and of course ends up meeting Leon.

The encounter is dramatic to say the least. Leon triggers immediately upon sensing Dante's presence and the two clash. Leon can barely control himself as his instincts are screaming in joy at FINALLY being meet with a challenge. Dante isn't upset in the least either, simply laughing at Leon's excitement considering the guy's acting like an overexcited puppy in terms of Demon behavior.

So Dante and Leon fight for a while and by the end of the demonic spar, Leon is lying flat on the ground, utterly EXHAUSTED, but grinning from ear to ear. Dante is smiling just as hard, surprisingly panting a bit from the fight. Leon was not as strong as him, but the guy still manged to hit pretty hard and pretty fast! It was honestly really fun!

The two of course become fast friends, it's hard not to when both of them share the same shitty sense of humor. Dante's even nice enough to give Leon a bunch of tips and tricks about being a demon and Leon, proving to be the greatest man alive, buys a bunch of pizza for Dante in return.

((When Leon explains how he got his powers Dante, the half devil starts laughing uncontrollably. He's able to easily guess what the Demon had been planing, and the fact that not only did Leon nuke it out of existence with just his sheer, stubborn willpower, he also managed to steal it's powers too! The whole situation was priceless!))

So, we know how Godzilla reacts to Leon (Big mama with tiny little baby!), but how do the rest of the Kaiju's react to now having tiny little versions of them that seemingly don't know how to act like a proper Kaiju?

Would Rodan treat Claire like a little baby pterodactyl-bird? (Leon would absolutely love to tease her about that)

I feel like Wesker would be very aggressive and try to bite Ghidorah a lot. How dare there be a better version of him out there!

With Godzilla becoming more active, other giant kaiju begin to stir and slowly reemerge into the world.

Mothra is the second to appear, and she finds Leon and the other's absolutely fascinating. Luis amuses her immensely, especially when he causally flirts with her every time they meet. (When you take a step back and look at them, he's basically like a 5 year old complimenting a millennium old woman.)

Rodan is the third and unlike others, can't stand Claire. The two constantly annoy one the other and are always butting heads. Claire thinks Rodan is a big baby and a coward, while Rodan thinks Claire is a crazy, annoying, and a pest. Over time they kinda develop a grudging respect for one another, but most of the time they're fighting like disgruntled siblings.

Kong is fourth and is only allowed to show up after Mothra arrives and convinces Godzilla not to obliterate him. Kong treats Chris like a brother and they spend most of their time just chilling out and doing fun monkey things. Kong however keeps a WIDE berth of Leon, not wanting to accidentally piss off Godzilla by doing something wrong.

Baragon, Anguirus, or Biollante will proabley not show up, but king Ghidorah. Destoroyah and Orga (maybe space Godzilla?) would definitely show up.

The evil giant Kajiu only start to appear because of Wesker and Saddler need their assistance. The two men have tried a couple times to attack Leon and the others, but their battles always end up drawing Gdozilla's attention.

When Godzilla shows up and sees a tiny version of Destoroyah and Ghidorah attacking Leonzilla and his friends, it's basically the Kaiju equivalent of finding your toddler playing with a scorpion and a rattlesnake. Godzilla nearly incinerates the two devious mini Kaiju on sight, forcing them to flee before they're killed.

Realizing they have to distract Godzilla if they want any real chance in wining against Leon and the others, the two begin to search out and reawaken the other dangerous Kaiju.

Okay okay. I’ve had this thought for a while since I saw the Leonzilla plush. What does it look like by itself, you know I just wanna gush at his cuteness! I hope Leon inspects how cute and chubby the plush is, probably upset at the inaccuracy or disbelief if he actually looks like that to the public.

Just ahhh this AU has a chokehold on me right now.

TA-DAH! It's Sherry's favorite plush. She's got 20 others, but this one is no only the softest, but also the best one to cuddle with.

Leonzilla AU

Just some cute doodles of Leonzilla. The bottom right one he's listening to Sherry talk about her day. She's probably telling him how she almost had to throw hands with another chick at the store in order to get the last Leonzilla plushie.

Leon and the crew can't speak human language as Kaiju, but they have no problem understanding one another despite making only growls and shrieks. It's not a language, just something they instinctively know what the other is conveying/saying.

Leon still can't talk to Godzilla though. Godzilla's dialect and speech are too eldritch and confusing to understand. Over time, Leon may be able to figure out a few words, but nothing more than that.

Here' Luis patented method of calming Leonzilla down. He'll just plop onto Leon's head and snuggle into that cute noggin until he chills out.

Leonzilla AU

So in this universe, Godzilla and Mothra have a VERY specialized symbiotic relationship and that means the same rules apply to Luis and Leon too.

Godzilla is a destructive powerhouse and has the tendency to lose control, especially after an intense fight with another Kaiju. Mothra's main job is to stop Godzilla and help calm them down by using her fairy dust which can effect/change Godzilla's moods.

One of the reasons Mothra is practically immortal is because sometimes during this process, if she is unsuccessful, Godzilla may attack and accidentally kill her. Thankfully the shock of this act is usually enough to stop Godzilla's rampage, so even in death Mothra can accomplish her duty.

As for Leon, his temper is okay at first, but as he gets stronger and has more experience with being a Kaiju, he begins to have some problems. His temper starts to get shorter, and it scares him how rageful and furious he can get when he's fighting, thankfully Luis has a natural affinity for reading his emotions and always steps in to help snuff out his anger before it gets too bad.

It doesn't take long for both of them them to notice that the dust Luis produces has an effect on Leon's mood, so they two decided to investigate further. With Leon's permission, Luis tries to figure out how the dust works, testing how strong it is, as well as how long it last.

It's a little rough at first, considering Luis accidentally causes Leon to almost lash out and attack him by making him REALLY ANGRY a couple times, but Luis gets a hang of it pretty quick.

Luis knows this power isn't something he can screw around with and solemnly promises Leon that he won't abuse it. Leon surprisingly finds himself okay with this arrangement, knowing the other man wouldn't betray his trust and is one of the few people in his life he knows he can depend on.

There's also the fact that Leon would be DEVASTATED if he EVER lost control and killed/hurt anyone, so having Luis there to stop him was a incredible blessing for him.

((Also Luis is a DUSTY BOI, as all moths are. Poor Leon is usually COATED in the stuff and it's a BITCH to get out of the wash, let me tell you-!))

As you probably guess, there are a SHIT-TON of memes about Leonzilla. Thankfully the public doesn't know Leon is the giant lizard himself, but it's still REALLY embarrassing for him sometimes, especially when he sees the Memes that point out how cute and chubby he looks.

Leonzilla AU

So Godzilla has been quietly watching Leonzilla from a distance, respecting his decision to remain alone but there's only one slight problem, Leon is terrible at being a Kaiju. Godzilla's patience quickly wears thin and one day Leon's horrible mannerisms finally become too much to even witness, and Godzilla is like, OKAY I GOTTA FIX THIS. (ಠ_ಠ )

So poor Leon finds himself being taken under Godzilla's tutelage and is now being forced to learn 'Godzilla 101: How to swim, hunt, breath lazer beams, fight, roar etc...!

Leon REALLY doesn't want to do this, but when a 400 foot tall indestructible Kaiju prompts you to do a proper roar, you don't tell it to F-ck off, instead you roar you're little heart out until all you can make is just pathetic little raspy barks.

Godzilla will only let Leon go home unless he improves slightly during the session, and when Leon comes back and explains what's happening to the rest of the group, everyone agrees that he should just indulge Godzilla and endure these lessons, after all, we don't want to piss off the GIANT LIZARD MONSTER.

SO Leon comes back from one 'training session' and everyone is like, "Oh how did it go?" And Leon just grimaces and says "I had to hunt a whale-" And then slumps his head against the table "-And then apparently we couldn't leave until I ate at LEAST half of it!" Claire starts cackling, while Chris can't help but ask how it tasted and Leon thinks about for a moment and answers. "Honestly…it was better than whatever shit they served us in the mess hall the other day."

Leonzilla AU

Sherry is Leonzilla's biggest fan, much to his bewilderment.

She gets ALL THE MERCH. Shirts, plushies, toys, hats, backpacks, LITERALLY ANYTHING that's got her lizard dad emblazoned upon it, she'll buy it!

Okay, you said Godzilla exists in this AU. What's the G-Man's reaction to this chaos? I'd imagine depending on the version it's either be anger, indifference, pity/sympathy, or happy (since he'd technically get another member of his species to hang out with)

So in the AU, everyone thinks Godzilla is just a silly movie monster and has zero knowledge that Godzilla is actually real and has just been kept secret by the government this whole time.

No one has seen Godzilla except for classified low exploration dives into the deep ocean, where camera's and sonar have caught brief glimpses of the monster's existence. There, Godzilla has dwelled for thousands of years, only surfacing once or twice during that entire duration of time.

This all changes of course, considering Leon's circumstances.

When Leon is when bored, he will sometimes take a swim across the ocean currents. It's one of the few places he can go without worrying about damaging anything as a giant monster, so he'll just chill out and explores the waters for a bit. Of course he has no idea what a racket he's making when he's swimming about and it catches Godzilla's attention, who surfaces to see what's going on.

Leon of course is terrified when the encounter happens because HOLY SHIT GODZILLA IS REAL AND GINORMOUS, while Godzilla is just like......who's baby is this?

All Leon can do is just watch and endure as Godzilla looks him over, obviously curious about him before it makes some kind of judgment. Suddenly the giant beast starts nudging Leon towards the sea, prompting him to follow it back deep into the ocean with a gentle rumble.

It takes Leon a second to realize what's happening.

Godzilla was trying to adopt him.

((Leon politely declines the invitation to join Godzilla, who respects his choice but is determined to keep an eye on the tiny baby from now on. Lucky him.))
