Hello!

It’s my birthday, it’s the GazettE’s birthday, I just watched BLINDING HOPE and the MASS preview and felt compelled to come back to tumblr lol. It’s a new album ofc but just listening to the GazettE again is a mega nostalgia trip for me. I’m not sure if anyone remembers me, but If we were tumblr acquaintances or friends or reblog buddies back in the day, I truly hope you’re doing well!! (or as best as you can be, with this past year in particular)

This account turned 10 years old yesterday and that blows my mind! I’ve definitely been absent for years, but this account and the GazettE have been with me through a lot. Coming back to the gazette tag and experiencing fandom again is like always having a home to come back to. Cheesy I know lol. It looks like it’s been almost three years since I’ve posted, because I was around for the NINTH announcement. I saw the GazettE perform in NYC back in 2019, and time has just flown since then. 

I’m listening to BLINDING HOPE on repeat right now and I really really like it. Especially the instrumentals! The video I was not particularly wow-ed by but I think a lyrics translation will make it better. The MASS preview I also really like so far.

If you read this disorganized stream of consciousness update thank you lol. The release + my birthday + it being 1 AM has got me SO nostalgic and I just had to let it out. I don’t think I will be active on this account necessarily, but I will try to breathe at least a tiny bit of life into it. Can’t wait for the album release in May!

Now I will tell him, “You should start from finger picking” (laughs). Since I started by using pick, the moment I switched to finger picking, it was like I was playing an entirely different instrument. Had I been doing both since the beginning, like a bilingual person, I think my playing range would be much wider. But, If I have to say a fundamental thing, I’m glad that I kept on playing bass. I’m a person who can’t keep doing things for long, and except for bass, I always gave up what I started. But I feel that my personality started to take shape when I started playing bass, so it’s like it’s an instrument which shapes even my character. Moreover, I only want to play bass in the GazettE. I never think of playing bass outside the GazettE.
