I took an English ACT and jumped 2 points! Granted, it was one I had taken before and not yet gone over, but I didn’t know the answers and I GOT A 36!!!!
Sorry if that made no sense. Maybe all I needed to break the plateau was a day off haha 😅
Now that I’ve finished the program I’ve been working on for ACT math, I’ll be going over all the questions I’ve missed in past tests and working them out. It seemed to help with English, and I’ll know what to target 🎯💪
ACT UPDATE 6/16/26
(DAY 6 OF TAKING AN ACT PRACTICE PER DAY!!)
Got a 31 on this practice but it’s okay!! I haven’t taken it before. (Could only find 2 official released ACT practice tests so I’ve been on the hunt for a few GOOD released tests. Ran into a few that were really bad, but I’m still improving!)
This is officially day 6 or taking an ACT practice per day until my actual exam next month!! In honor of tomorrow being my first week of it, what should I do?

I’ve been studying almost entirely math the last 2 weeks and I’ve raised it 3 points from a 28 to a 31! I would like to get a 34+ on the exam total.
Right now I have a:
30- english
31-math
35-reading
I am going to study 2 hours per day instead of 1, so hour one will be a 2:1 ratio of English to math.
2 days on math and one day on English.
the second hour will be a practice test. I will alternate English then Math. As of today I have 1 month left. 30 practice tests and 60 total hours of study will be just fine!! Right? Yep!!
Did you know that Yale has an extensive catalog of free / low-cost online courses? I sure didn't! I compiled an insanely long list of them for myself because a lot of them look really interesting. The list I made isn't totally comprehensive, so I recommend looking through their actual catalog if you want to scroll through them yourself.
These courses are not credit-bearing, but since they don’t rely on prerequisites you can take whatever you want! Highly recommend for students of any age who are interested in building their resume to apply to undergraduate or graduate programs and / or to build your resume post-grad for job applications.
