The following are pictures of rare sunset solar eclipses. They are when an eclipse and a sunset occur at the same time.
Gorgeous!
grimtime:
Nah we all make our judgements on people and situations with the information we have whether we wanna do that or not.
Cool blog BTW.
thanks. i made it awhile ago but never really used it. it was sort of boring. your blogs nice too
grimtime:
To an extent- but no more than anyone else! The past informs everyones behaviour and its a lil presumptuous to say its either significantly holding me back OR benefitting me given that conclusion is based on our one short conversation online, but! I’m not offended.
that’s why i only said it sounds like it. I’m glad youre not offended though. that wouldnt be a great first impression
grimtime:
Yeah but THAT was implicit in my very long spiel! I think.
maybe. but it sounds more like your past is holding you back, no offense.
grimtime:
Maybe? I’d check but then I’m faced with problem two: the humiliation aspect of old content and bad opinions. Like that HAS to be a relatable experience think back to when you were 13 and tell me it is NOT.
who isn’t kind of dumb when they’re 13? we have to let that go and make better decisions now

faefinder:
what does their religion have to do with it?
Iuno, it just does.
i’ll take your word for it. if it was from you were 13 though, don’t you think its maybe changed?
grimtime:
It was NOT! Facebook is just so many middle-aged/elderly Christians people being like “I love MY SON to the MOON AND BACK happy birthday darling!” and like, adverts.
what does their religion have to do with it?
grimtime:
1. The revoked policy of never reblogging posts:
Initially, I started up this blog with the intention that I would only use it to talk directly to my friends and post my own original thoughts. The logic behind this was that if I abided by it, I wouldn’t feel uncomfortable or confused about my construction of myself coming from popular posts, and I could look back on my blog knowing everything there was something I at one time really did think and then go on to voice.
I didn’t wanna absorb trendy slang or aspects of someone else. Initially, I wanted the agency in constructing my own damn self, and if you take a post to be self-expression then the idea is when you take other people’s posts to display on your blog, you are appropriating their construction of themselves. It was an identity thing.
Revoking the policy:
It was a stupid-ass line of logic and a stupid-ass policy based off a stupid-ass conclusion. Nobody constructs themselves all on their own. People are naturally shaped by their interactions with other people and a huge-ass part of who we are! Comes from our ability to relate to and communicate with each other.
2: The trepidation about looking at my old content:
Old content is pretty much always embarrassing. We all know this. Look at your Facebook from when you were 13 and tell me you don’t just want to wilt.
3: Personhood and the pitfalls of trying to define yourself?
Self-definition is HARD. The act of analyzing your own consciousness and deciding what you are, what you are not, how you are different from people, how you’re the same is a pain in the ass. You don’t always know or remember or see those things in a way that isn’t totally subjective. You also don’t always believe the same of yourself. Or ARE the same as you were. Selfhood changes like constantly and introspection spurs on further change. Self-definition isn’t always a pitfall but it sure as hell can be.
“you should go to the bathroom”
Don’t tell me what to do. I pissed myself just now right here.
i never had a Facebook. sometimes i hear girls at school talk about it, but it didn’t sound interesting
grimtime:
I SURE AM.
Anyway, that’s a damn good question but I’ve no fucking clue what it’s in reference to. The revoked policy of never reblogging posts? The trepidation about looking at my old content? Personhood and the pitfalls of trying to define yourself? I’m gonna piss.
maybe all of it? and you should go to the bathroom, then.
grimtime:
faefinder
you’re really energetic, aren’t you?
THANKS!
#I’m 90% sure this means “GodDAMN who the fuck is this person and why’s she clogging my dashboard”!#But!

Hercules - is a rescued Lion that lives at the Wild Animal Sanctuary in Colorado, and like other lions there, he sometimes dreams of roaring while he is sleeping
He sounds like a pull cord lawn mower that won’t start up
