The Silk Palace

The Silk Palace is the home of non-fae spider-folk, and giant spiders. It is a gigantic spiderweb that covers most of a massive forest. It is the place to go for information regarding anything or anyone. It's a neutral ground for anyone that hasn't broken any of the rules The Silk Palace has, because if you mess with one spider, you mess with them all.

Court & Eye Colour

A fae's eye colour matches their court's colour. They can change their eye colour outside of this, or else they wouldn't be able to blend in as normal animals, but it is considered unrespectful and possibly even treacherous if one consistently does not use their court's colour.

So, turns out, the seeker base I'd made and had been using, had a small error in it. So now I have to go through all the seekers and fix that small error, and then re-update all their posts. I want to cry out in anguish. I only noticed it while making the 2nd of the first two G1(gaia) characters I've imported into TFA(animus). I don't doubt that I'll import various other characters into various other territories, but I don't have any others planned atm. The Gaia import characters'll be done with the seeker update, so expect them sometime tomorrow. I'm so mentally tired with these small errors and fixes and updates. TwT

4th of the main Animus Aumila group with Bulkhead! He is the last old ref that needed updating. I only have 2 other characters already semi-setup for ref making, so after them, it'll take longer for me to make and post refs.

Court Symbol Update

I'm gonna change the court symbols bc I came up with an even better idea that allows me to make more courts easily. So expect all the character reference posts to get updated too.

The colours for the courts won't change, but the symbols will. Well, kinda, they're symbols with 3 colours. Yall'll see when I start updating them after I sleep. I'm v proud of my colour choices/colour math, and these symbols look unreasonably pretty.

I also have a new character ref ready to export into the main ref file and the various alts. This character was actually the first I made and was the template for others before I seriously updated the template. They're also the reason why there's a court symbol change, tho for the character it's mostly spoilers for why the change was needed. I thankfully figured out a way to have as small a change as needed to keep this character the same(mostly, minor colour updates and slightly simplifying their fur pattern to match the current lore).

Anyways, I'm gonna go to bed now and work on updating the main court pages first, then post the new character, and then updating all the old refs. Fun :D

Updating the posts for the courts and their new symbols was easy. I did not plan on exporting Prowl to be such a hassle. I will be working on the other’s updates, but they may happen later than I wanted. I need more coffee...

Had to work through a headache with a mysterious origin, and not being at my desk for several hours due to shopping, but I got them all!
