Why are you staying in Vegas?

It's a mixture of reasons. I want to be here for my family because some truly need me. Debt is scary. I don't really have a set path in life and I'm not willing to spend tens of thousands trying to just find myself. I did not make this decision because I HAD to or because someone else TOLD me to stay. This decision was completely made by me. Education is a priority, but it's location is not. I know I will work hard to get where I want to go, but for now, I need to be right here.My advice to those who will one day have to choose where to go:No matter how long it takes, you will get to your dream. The key is to persevere. Keep trying. Even if you get setback. I know I'm not giving up on it, but I also understand that it isn't the best time right now for me to leave. Furthermore, make this decision for yourself. Do not let anyone talk you into where to go because you will regret it. Out of state is an amazing opportunity and can be the right fit. Don't let people tell you it's impossible and you can't make it. Be realistic. Realize that school isn't cheap and try to stay out of extreme debt. Last, but not least, you are given a clean slate after high school. Do what you like with it. If you decide to go to an affordable school instead of your dream, people will say you are letting others control you and you don't want it enough. If you go to a dream school, people will criticize how you budget and say you are unrealistic. You know what is best for you, so do not listen to anyone else. Find a way to make your plan work. Carve your life your way.

I thought your father's death was why you were staying in Vegas.
