Worldbuilding Wednesday - Disability Pride Month Edition

Does your clan have any dragon or beastclan residents with disabilities? How do their disabilities affect their daily lives? Does your lair have any accessibility features available (ramps, braille, sign interpreters, etc) for residents or visitors who might be disabled?

#excellent prompt!#off the top of my head. Aurelius is at least low vision considering the faceted eyes.#he can see shapes and light extremely well but cannot make out any details #he mostly relies on the above & smell (coatl tongue) to identify who or what hes staring at #i havent decided if braille is a thing at the harbor yet since Murkbottom is a Nasty Place & also not everyone has hands #but seeing eye guides are quite common #at the very least-- Murkbottom has tons of well maintained ramps (& no stairs). the docks are always reinforced & checked for instability #so wheelchairs should be fine #most residents know some form of sign language but there are a few spoken language barriers so prob some sign ones as well #as for The Grove. definitely a lot of enchantments in place to narrate signs & open doors #things like that #but not very wheelchair accessible since. its all grass.#theyre working on it. i think its a struggle between not wanting to develop the land past its natural state vs accessibility #lore 2: electric boogaloo #sparkling waves #starry skies #worldbuilding wednesday

[PSA] Spam Private Messages

We're currently investigating a spate of spam private messages being sent to players on the site.

These private messages do not have links in them. They're quite friendly and are heavily focused on topics typically associated with Flight Rising players, like role-play, art commissions, etc. From there, they'll invite you to privately message them over on Discord (currently), where whatever link or file they send you won't be flagged.

This is a common tactic, to isolate the intended victim by bringing them to a "second place."

Never go to the second place. If what they're looking to discuss in private messages is legitimate, they'll have no problems discussing their topics on the Flight Rising website.

Please be careful when you're being sent an unknown link or file. Don't download files or click on links from people employing these tactics online.
