Hello everyone! This line (from chapter two of A Dark Among the Lights by @luckylectio over on AO3) has been on my mind for the last year, so I finally sat down and drew it :D

So, uh. Fallen London. If, for whatever reason, you need to get into New Newgate Prison for a bit, but ideally you'd like to do it without acquiring a criminal record in the process, because those are awkward, apparently a nice, handy-dandy solution could be to try and rob hell?

Or rather, hell's embassy in London. And specifically, you need to fail to rob it. Because if you do that and get caught by the devils in the act, the resulting diplomatic snafu results in you being hastily shuffled out of sight and off to prison without any of that pesky stuff like due process.

Which would not normally be a good thing? But because this is going on up at the diplomatic level, it means that smaller people, like, say, the police and judicial system, continue to be blissfully unaware of your existence for a while longer.

Just, you know. As an idle note from someone who is currently staring out of a barred stalactite window? Again.

you know i think varian is cis but after growing up pretty androgynous so he's been mistaken as a she more times than he can count, his hair growing out longer than he ever wanted it to, both in prison and after quirin neglected him due to grief after ulla left, and almost being a clone of her both in looks and in personality (almost).... and then being possessed by her. yeah he deserves a weird and complicated relationship with his gender

Hello just a quick update to say im still around just busy practicing music again

i had a bit of a health scare but everything is fine now doctor said its fine ill get tests done over the next few weeks but its fine .

and i actually have good news i managed to find the pan project files !!

If i had any art to upload I would but i dont want to force it . Im having too much fun on keyboard hehe

i love hearing other people’s takes on characters/their interpretations of certain storylines, so i wanted to start a discussion here about khoa

in batman: the knight, why do you guys think khoa shot luka jungo? personally i don’t think it was self-defense (i don’t think khoa imagined luka trying to hunt him down if they left), i think part of it was khoa giving bruce the experience of seeing someone die in front of him with a gun in a controlled environment. khoa saw how torn up bruce was from shooting someone, even just in the hand, and khoa wanted to force bruce to confront his childhood trauma so he could overcome it. so they could be great, together

i also think he wanted to shatter bruce’s perception of him as ultimately a good person who isn’t a killer. partly out of self-sabotage after luka’s words that he’s a danger that can’t be allowed out in the world, partly to get bruce to come around to the darker things khoa is willing to do for the sake of accomplishing his goals. anyway i’d love to here your guys’ thoughts!
