Inigo's Up To Something[Open; 02]

He jumped a bit, not noticing that someone was gazing behind him. Turning around, he noticed an unfamiliar face as he decided to observe them. It appeared to be that of a woman, a beautiful one at that. Grinning, Inigo couldn’t help but get to know her, and perhaps if he got lucky, offer her to have some tea.

A smile formed upon his face, as he moved a little closer towards her. He stopped himself from getting too close, not wanting to invade her personal space. After all, it was best to not startle anybody, especially girls. One thing he wouldn’t want spreading around in a huge city like this is a bad reputation.

He bowed down for a moment, checking her out all over before greeting.

"My, my I haven’t seen you around here before. Perhaps you’re new?"

" I apologize. My mind wandered too far but is affirmative, I recently arrived. " 

Subtly coughing to cover up the fact she continued to be embarrassed over her main response to his little advertisement that was of no relevance whatsoever. Eyebrows slightly remained furrowed, mostly bothered by her own attitude rather than his friendly response. He was kind, she can take that and how terrible she felt for acting so idiotically and  possibly making more obvious her lack of practical knowledge about romance and whatnot - actually, her interest might be revealed and that is not the point here. The knight only was curious, she did not stare for any other reason. Hopefully she will not have to explain such trivialities and find a more suitable topic, something that is not as embarrassing as any open demonstration of affection. Shoulders relaxed eventually, her firm position recovered where she finally found enough courage to behave properly. Hand clad in armor extended to the male who's smile dedicated at her, trying to do the same and continue straying from the main reason she was in front of him.

" Name is Erza Scarlet, it's a pleasure. "

" I was only passing by, my knowledge regarding this city is still not vast to conduce myself too far from my assigned room so I only know about a desserts store.  "

It was indeed unfortunate. She didn’t wish this upon anyone she associated with, with the exception of a certain bastard. Kagura composed herself, but allowed herself to smile in front of her friend.

A curve began to form in Erza's lips to return said tender gesture, both hands behind her back as she approached to Kagura with slow but firm steps. At the very end there was no use to complain about their shared misfortune, at most they can gallant themselves of their proper condition and how they were reunited again, though there were more decent methods to meet with one and another this one shall do for now.

" Dare I ask why the cold attitude at first? Far as I recall you do not have to pretend anything near me, or so do I believe. I am truly relieved you are alright but do not fret coming for me when you find yourself in trouble. I am aware of your capacities but it'll be better if most of us stick together. "

Unfortunate was to wish for those who one we hold dear to be facing the gruesome experience of being kidnapped to another dimension. Erza was exalted, partially happy but worried to see the Mermaid Heel's ace was trapped in Hive city too.

" Kagura...! How long have you been here !? "

Those first few words managed to put a smile on the Ice mage’s face. He recognized that voice anywhere. Sure enough, there she was. Fairy Tail’s strongest women in the flesh. Whatever was happening right now, he was glad to know that he wasn’t the only one going through it. With Erza here too he regained his composure and stood back up.

"Erza! It’s good to—"

That was where the pleasantries ended. The harsh grab and tone of her voice immediately caused Gray to shrink with fear. He knew what was coming. Erza’s infamous punishment! After the talk they had about Juvia and his response to her feelings, this was to be expected. And trying to explain it to her would be futile.

"W-Wait, hold on! L-Let’s be civil about this, Erza-sama!"

Add that -sama and hope to god she has mercy.

It was impossible to fight back Erza's wrath, in one hand she was not pleased by the fact he went missing for so long when rumours ran around about his presence in Hive city. In the other, it was a higher concern for many members, mainly Juvia but that alone sufficed. Begging for mercy was a sweet attempt, almost naive that could obviate the particular innocent belief that she would listen once angered.

How endearing, who could thought he was not there for a few days? She truly have missed Gray and his scared demeanor only brought back that relief of seeing him alright-- what a terrible way to lead a tender memory.

" Very well. We can't afford losing anyone meanwhile we are here, don't scare me like that again. Understand? " Titania's threatening aura subdued by the second, leaving only but the traces of a fearsome possibility.

Indeed, how terrible she was to express worry but he may understand deep down that Erza meant well regardless of her initial plans of hurting him. However, that will be left for much later.

Taking advantage of the hold, she proceeded to pull the ice mage close to her chest, instead of a warm embrace his face would be mostly welcomed by cold metal belonging to her armor. Forceful yet tender, suitable only for this fairy. " I am glad you are safe. "

He wasn't really sure how to go about doing this. He wouldn't lie and say that the thought of kissing her wasn't pleasant. It was the potential consequences that would come thereafter that made him reluctant. Even so, he mustered up his courage (backed up by a bit of all powerful ero) and made his way over towards the fairy. And then a kiss on the cheek.

Questioning the doing of another person while they approached to you without a purpose was normal but the knight was busy on a slice of strawberry cheesecake that demanded more attention than someone else. It was more relevant until a pair of lips were placed on her cheek, brief instant in which she left aside her dish only to muster up the required anger. It was not only embarrassing, she felt confused by this sudden shameless act that not only put her in a difficult situation that would heat up her face—

In return, a slap would be delivered at full force.

Gray is trying his best to cope with whatever the hell it is that’s happening right now. Who were these people and what did they mean by ‘social experiment? And what was with this city that looked like it came from the future?!

"That’s it, I’ve had it. There must be some dark cloud hanging over my head. No matter what we accomplish something worse is always around the corner. Is this punishment for all the mayhem we cause?!"

He needs a moment to regain his bearings. At least it can’t get any worse.

Titania was less than pleased to see him but did not expressed it at first instance, her approach harsh as usual expected to be noticed when grabbing the shoulder of her comrade, violent shook took ahead of the previously soft caress the metallic gauntlet over his bare skin, pulling him over closely.

Gray's punishment has barely begun.

None in specific, both are quite lovely but if it's for missions she might choose daytime to its benefits.

☠ - How do they react to death?

Uhm, I am kind of rusty with this so I maybe will stray from canon -- I think Erza will have a common reaction like any other person, going from unavoidable sadness to constant remind of the one lost. She may stood in silence, proud at the same time only to reassure others that everything will be okay onwards but alone she won't hold back any tears.

It depends too on how this happens, be it a sacrifice, something decided by nature or only but an sad catastrophe.

Death is something you must accept but is impossible to evade sadness, mainly because it's what you cannot change. She'll remember everyone as they were, considering first their courage and good deeds over everything.

♠ - What are they afraid of?

She fears mostly to leave her friends behind without being capable to do something to protect them, it's her sense of worth that doesn't let her to fail them or putting everything on their hands when it comes to difficult situations when she is the most reliable person among them. Erza may consider herself weak but she is strong because of her friends, failing to them means an insult.

They are a top priority and she needs to give every bit of her strength.

✓ - How do they react to praise?

Erza gets quite embarrassed, switching completely her usual proud stance to a shy person that will accept recluntantly those kind words since she's a humble person...sometimes, ignoring how she always ends up acting the opposite when she' scantily clothed.

♔ - Do they value loyalty?

Of course.

It's a lesson taught since she joined Fairy Tail, no matter what they'll always be there for her and she wants her comrades to feel the same reassurance of being back to back in every moment.

♥ - What does ‘love’ mean to them?

It does not stray too far from her concept of friendship. Love is what demands dedication, loyalty and unconditional trust that may blind her someone as she puts her full trust on those who she consider close regardless of how risky it may be. Erza has a terrible way to express how she cares about others, is overwhelming and full of authority, bickering every once and then regarding the bad habits others have because she wants the best for them. Is almost a motherly annoying sort of love that hides the tender side only leaving the ridiculous part afloat.Not only that, but have a heart open for forgiveness.

Erza is still young and without experience but always goes for what she feels is correct.

♣ - What is one thing that they find embarrassing? (About them, others, things in general)

It's been a while since I read the manga so I can only remember how she got when it was revealed that Bisca and Alzack got married. The openly expression of emotions or any hint about romance expressed, be it personal or someone she knows !

☯ - Do they sleep with the lights on or off?

Off, definitively. One has to be alert all the time but if there's space to low your guard and find comfortableness she may go ahead and relax. You have to get used to move in the darkness somehow!

Silly as it sounds.

♕ - Do they trust easily?

She's...sort of neutral. If it's someone she knows she won't doubt on them but if it's a stranger then she might wonder but does not let her suspicions get in the way as long as she is not in a mission or dangerous situation.

As a kid it was difficult for her to open up when arriving to Fairy Tail, Erza was a reserved individual that could barely talk with others or put any effort on getting along with the other kids. Reading the intentions of others is hard, even predict them but sometimes a few nice words about comradership and interest on changing their ways satiates the knight when it comes to these topics.

She always tends to believe in them, hoping one day they'll understand.
