Hey guys! If you currently live in USA I am moving and selling my entire BigBang collection on ebay. Many items are already rehomed but many are still looking for their forever home. If the link doesn’t take you to my shop you can find me under loujean81
I don’t think Azriel deserves to suffer more in order to finally get his happily ever after. He has been suffering for 500+ years stemming back to his childhood neglect and abuse. His very existence was always deemed inadequate because he was an outcast bastard of a lord son.
Azriel did express entitlement toward Elain in the BC which is a major part of why I don’t ship Elriel. However, reducing it to just entitlement is an inaccurate representation of his very complex feelings and insecurities.
He was angry and does want to be deserving of Elain. He wants the fates that he believes in to consider him good enough or worthy enough of being mated to an Archeron the way that his brothers are. That has nothing to do with Elain and everything to do with himself. It’s not his entitlement that is the root of his issues, it’s his own self hatred, insecurity, and unworthiness.
Elain isn’t special to Azriel. She’s just the next Mor.
Sorry to break it to people, but Azriel’s growth does not revolve around Elain. These are all feelings stemming back centuries before Elain even existed that keep getting worse because now in his trio, he is the odd one out. Of course he’s like why am I not worthy enough when my two brothers are.
Elain is a very minor blip in his 500 year history with Mor. If he “needs to watch the woman he felt entitled to find her happily ever after” it should be Mor he watches (like hello????).
However, Azriel being kicked while he’s already down is not essential to his story moving forward. Most Gwynriels believe his love and/or mating bond with Gwyn be something that catches Azriel by surprise anyways.
Idc who people think has the next book, but this whole “they deserve it more” stuff is really obnoxious and adding fuel to a fire for no reason.
These books are so good and I have nobody to talk about them with, I can’t even find fanart!
The story follows 12 fae on their quest to save what’s left of the planet two thousand years after a nuclear hollocaust. The first three books follows wolfshifters. The second three books follow vampires. The third three books follow elves. And the last three books follow crowshifters.
The books are spicy, have banter, multiple point of views and, soulmates.
I just finished this book called QUICKSILVER and I highly recommend it. It’s got Fae, spice, strong female lead and the banter really BANTERS. Cover for reference.
And down here is your shadow daddy, Kingfisher.
There’s also Carrion Swift who’s funny, smart, and provides great banter.

This might be an unpopular opinion with some of you but I believe Tamlin has already redeemed himself after he helped Feyre escape and brought Rhysand back from death.
The guy loves her. Period.
He’s gone around things the wrong way but he loves her, is actively in love with her despite of everything, and has loved her enough to give her up to find her own happiness with someone he deems an enemy and a rival.
Feyre literally begged Tamlin to help bring Rhysand back and she offered to do ANYTHING in return. Tamlin being a fae could have held on to the bargain, he could have called her on it. He could have pulled a page out of Rhysand’s book and asked her to spend time in the Spring Court. He could have asked her to help reconstruct that which she helped bring down. He could have asked so many things! Yet all he did was ask her to be happy. That’s it. “Be happy, Feyre.” and he walked away.
His court is shattered, his heart is shattered, he’s broken and can’t seem to find the strength to pick up the pieces. I hope SJM finds it in her pen to have the Spring Court and Tamlin bloom again.

from THE CRUEL PRINCE by Holly Black
She looked away- toward the windows. 'I can hear your heart,' she said quietly.
'When I sleep, I can hear your heart beating through the stone.' She angled her head, as if the city view held some answer. 'Can you hear mine?'
'No, lady. I cannot.'
'No one ever does. No one ever looked- not really.'
_____________
Is this scene really about hearing a heart beating? Or is is about something else? Is she actually saying ‘I see you deep down, can you see me too?’
I feel this scene really encompasses whom Elain really is as a character. People see her as they want to see her: the sweet sister, the preetiest one, the fragile one, the gardener, the seer, the mate…but nobody really sees her for who she really is deep down. Nobody sees her outside of their own preconceptions. Nobody sees her for HER, for how she wants to be seen, for what’s deep beneath the surface. People say quiet waters run deep and I believe that’s how her book is going to play out. There’s a lot to Elain that has been overlooked and nobody has figured out.
"Exactly," Cardan says, reaching out a finger to trace the shape of my ear. The curve, I realize. I shudder, eyes closing against the hot spike of shame. He keeps talking, but he seems to realize what he's been doing and snatches his hand away. Now we're both ashamed.

Got my Cardan’s tail postcard autographed by Holly Black. 🥰
I was trying for Lucien going to save Feyre from her nightmare.
This poll might earn me some hate. And I will prefice that I dont belong to any of the anti x or pro x fandoms.
Which is worse?
Stopping someone from learning and restricting their freedom based on fear?
or
Withholding of crucial life or death medical information based on fear?
Who did it worse?
Tamlin
Rhysand
Poll results Comment:
When I made this poll I never commented because I didn’t want to sway anyone in any direction but this poll has been an eye opening and terrifying experience. That y’all would hate one character so much and love another one too much to the point of blindness. To totally delude yourself into thinking that a situation you can walk away from at some point is so horrifically worse than someone making a decision for you that will 100% cause you to die in a cruel way and hiding that fact from you. That’s totally fucked up. 😭 I love Rhysand as much as anyone but y’all CRAZY.
