The whole idea of them is actually that their face (or, the appearance of one) is fake, the eyes and everything are markings. They feign upset/pain to make nearby civilians feel secure enough to approach them, or their hiding spot. Ambush-based nom nom.

Teddy! Gear they are based on is one of the teddy gears (which one, will be disclosed at a later date). They are friendos with Del (rainbow carpet friend), and run a small clothing business out of their apartment!
