i’ve been meaning to do this post for YEARS and i finally managed to dig out all these sketches and put them together.

the sexual dimorphism in WoW has always been sad especially considering blizz had such good ideas at the start but the furious fan feedback always made them redesign these fascinating and monstrous females of the races into much more humanlike. i also remember the uproar of thin male blood elves and the homophobic and sexist slurs that followed which made them beef up the male model considerably.

i tried my best to give a go at redesigning them to make their body types, postures and facial features more aligned.

dwarf, undead, goblin and gnome models on the other hand are great, 5/5.

@lynderil‘s Razzyl as high priestess of a very real fake cult.

My own OC Ghryn, a former petty criminal and crafty engineer, is supposed to be helping her with special effects and shady stuff, while @i-got-a-witty-name‘s Kazinga acts as an innocent bystander touched by the grace of the Bling or possessed by evil spirits that the priestess chases away during their public appearances.

Of course the gals don’t always get away with their scheming... :p

An idea of a draenei I’ve had for a while. I don’t like the design of the draenei very much generally speaking, but this is perhaps the only concept I’ve like for them.

I’m still trying to find the right feel for my goblin Ghryn. (Seriously, I need to find her a better name.)

She tries real hard to look cool and edgy, like she’s crazy and you should not fuck with her, but she’d squeal if she were to actually fight a boar or something. She’s so scrawny she’d probably get her ass handed by her own granny.
